Luke Walton's grown up in the spotlight with his dad being a UCLA great and NBA Hall of Famer. He isn't some pie-eyed kid blinded by the Hollywood lights of Lakertown. He's got a good head on his shoulders, knows right from wrong and knows better than to run towards a car accident in progress.

No offense to Spears, but the woman obviously should have some higher priorities right now than being a front row groupie at Laker games.

Luke & Brit??? Are you kidding me. No Way! I couldn't see him going for trash like that. I remember a couple of years ago Luke was on a local LA radio station and admitted he thought Norah Jones was hot and his taste...now there is a better match...although Norah is probably taken, not sure since she doesnt have a media craze around her like Britney...but thats more of Luke's taste, if famous, then lowkey.

When it comes to "celebrity-dating" (especially involving Britney) this is all about good "fits",,,, and "matchups". Even though he's still a million miles from an NBA Championship ring, and will probably never achieve one in his NBA career, (unless the Dallas Mavericks pick him up via a trade or free-agency signing) Luke Walton is STILL deserving of a woman with much more maturity than Britney. Hypothetically imagining her splitting up with Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes would be an excellent "fit" for Luke Walton (in my opinion). Regarding a match for Britney, "if" a young Dennis Rodman happened along (let's say), then someone like that would be an excellent fit for Britney (in my humble opinion).

Luke who? Oh yeah, Bill's bench warming no talent second fiddle to Koby. Brittney is a freaking world wide super star who could buy the whole Walton family twenty times over. You know, there's nothing wrong with just dating. Not every date has to turn into a long-term commitment. It doesn't have to end up in bed either, but there is nothing wrong with going out and enjoying the company of others. For some people, part of the path of recovery is getting out and being social and dating. Being put into tempting situations teaches you whether you're ready to tackle them or if you need more work before getting out and about.

Britney, get out there and do what you want. Don't worry about everyone else. The world is like traffic. It sees a wreck and everyone has to slow down and look. It's none of their business. It's your life, enjoy it.

Let Britney at least try to be peaceful and happy. It is pathetic that the majority of these comments are most likely from women, who have no concern or care for another womans best interest. What happened to women supporting women? It is sad to see a world ruled with greed and jealousy....learn to love and forget to hate!!

Isn't the time right for Britney to take it slow for awhile? She's making herself look even more of an a-- by linking up with a new guy every week. She must know that any "unknown" guy is there simply for the publicity surrounding her name and press reputation. When it comes to going with a "celeb" right now, you can only wonder if that person is looking for more attention than they are already getting from the public.

as a recovering addict myself, and struggling from depression and anxiety, i can see EXACTLY how britney is feeling and why she's done the things she's done. that, combined with going through a public divorce, having 2 babies at home, AND people like u all tearing down a girl that u dont even kno, its no wonder she unraveled the way she did! i say, good luck to britney in WHATEVER she does, and u should all be ashamed of yourselves for taking joy in someone else's misery.
