He's a 14-year NFL veteran and is the Chargers' all-time leader in games played, but if you've never heard of David Binn, don't feel bad. He's a long snapper, after all. It's the NFL's most anonymous position. But Binn should be a household name for his non-football exploits: He's dating Pamela Anderson.
"He's exactly how I wanted my man to be," Pam told OK!, which discreetly followed them to Russia with a reporter and photographer. "He's very strong and very calm. I am such a crazy person, and with Dave, I can relax." More importantly, the mother of two adds, "David loves kids."
I discovered this from a tip last night via The Feed, and found that it's not exactly a secret (it's mentioned on Binn's Wikipedia page), but it hasn't been noted as much as I would have thought.
So, congratulations to David Binn. There's an old football cliche that long snappers are only mentioned when they do something wrong, but we can mention him for doing something very right.
