Mary Kay Mallonee, a reporter for the television station WAVY, has been investigating the Michael Vick dog-fighting story, and in a radio interview today, she described Vick's property as "a huge operation" where investigators found blood-soaked carpeting and wounded dogs.And perhaps the most damaging news for Vick is that Mallonnee interviewed employees of a store near Vick's property and reported:
"There's a store nearby and the clerks there said, 'Yeah, he comes in here often to buy supplies, lots of supplies, for the dogs, including things like syringes.'"
I don't know what Vick would be doing with syringes for dogs, but I can't imagine that it would be good. There's still a lot we don't know about this case, but what we do know indicates that Vick knew a property he owned was being used as a dog-fighting compound.
Meanwhile, the Humane Society is citing Vick as well as other NFL players past and present in telling commissioner Roger Goodell that he his league has a serious problem with dog fighting and cruelty to animals. This is very bad for Vick and for the NFL.

A easy way to corect M.Vicks mistakes and make us all accept him again, is to simply put him in the cage with these dogs and cover him with something offensive and then let them attack him for a few rounds. I am sure he may then see his wrongs!

2. You know, it is more than crazy how some people stay in trouble with their hands in so much sh*t. Carpets soaked with blood!? No one has the right to be cruel to animals. Sometimes I wish that some of the cruelty people inflick on other people and animals could be given back to them. Justice never equal the crimes. I hope Vick goes away. I am just tired of his lame stories and excuses.

He along with other NFL and NBA players have purchased from this guy..
Again,Mike is innocent of charges labeled at him..
He has not killed anyone..
He has not pulled a gun on anyone..
He has not raped or participated in raping or beating a female..
He has never been to jail either..
So,why is it that every little small thing is an automatic assumption of this mans guilt???
And,the need to seperate from his friends,or "homies"like some have called him..
His friends have never been accused of killing people outside of a nightclub..
They have never been in an barfight with Vick or jumped on anyone at a club..
They have not been connected to any drug ring or have had connections to one..(If they had,trust me,u would hear Mikes name 1st before theirs)..
And,they have never raped a female in Mike's home,either while he was asleep or awake..

10. Some of my friends did post around the 9:30 pm regarding the post by "tell the truth" on the insensitive and racist comments. The post were taken down (I'm not sure why since they were not hate filled and certainly more cogent than other posts I've seen) and I noted "tell the truth" comments were at a earlier spot and slightly rewritten. I believe "tell the truth" is perhaps the fanhouse blogger and has some sort of agenda going on that is suspect.

I know on occasion you will see some "vile" people, saying some "vile" stuff on these blogs. Yes, things are said that are "disrepectful" and racist to segments of mankind under the guise of being smart (which you are not), funny (which you are not), witty(which you are not)or insightful...which you are not. To take the
cruelty of one person and label a whole race to the thrash heap of mankind...well...I've seen some pretty vile things done by people of all races in my lifetime, as a cop, to other people and animals.

14. Lilly stick your head in the sand all you want. Dog fighting is a cultural thing. Murder rape and every other deviate criminal act is done more by one race than any other. Ignore the facts if you want to. Instead of responding with facts call me names. Every memeber of every race has done bad deeds. One race just does it more than others. 16. Why? You dont like freedom of speech? Where do you live? I happen to be a very nice person who is happy until I see all the destruction in this country caused by people you defend. I have never hurt anyone and surely dont hate you because of your thoughts how ever misguided they are. Matter of fact I have never had a problem with any neighbor I have ever had. Before you make yourself out to be even more misinformed then you already are my next door neighbor is black. I dont have a problem with him because he has a job, goes to work everyday, he has one child who is very well behaved, he takes care of his house etc, etc. (my point was not that every single person of a race acts a certain way)

20. Until there is a gene found in African Americans, I will not believe that dig fighting is isolated to these people. Cruelty to animals is everywhere. What about cock fighting? Is that also a black sport?
Until we, as a country, can stop acting like children, calling each other names, and blaming everything on race issues we will not progress. Race has NOTHING to do with the character of a man.
I will say that it is a crying shame that there is more anger generated by Michael Vick than what was generated by Keneth Lay. The reports so far point to Vick as being guilty, but reports are just that, reports. Until a court admits what has been found as evidence and MV is found guilty, we (as Americans following our constitution) must assume he is innocent.
