When he's posing for official NFL picture day, Steelers kicker Jeff Reed looks like a pretty normal guy. Well, looks can be deceiving.
The above picture of Reed looking just a little bit disheveled (a picture first posted at Deadspin) shows someone who is pretty far from normal. Deadspin has more photos of Reed, too, and it's fair to say that he's not the least bit camera-shy.
Reed's Wikipedia entry says he was voted Best Personality in high school. It also says he was a journalism major at North Carolina. Please, Jeff, I'm begging you: Put that journalism education to use and start a blog. I really can't imagine there's an NFL player whose blog I'd rather read.

As far as being "far from normal", that statement makes me assume the writer has never attended college, been to a bar, or flirted with a girl... Not that I ever took off my shirt in a bar (I don't have an NFL players body) but I saw scenes like that nightly when I worked at one...
To be fair, the blog wasn't all that negative; his blog would be interesting...

Hey Smitty, If THIS is what you have to report on, you 1) have too much time on your hands, and 2) need to GET A LIFE OF YOUR OWN!! My advice? Hit the gym, grow yer hair, have a beer and shut the.. nah, won't go there.. :-)
