1. Trailblazers (The Big Lead) pick: Greg Oden, Ohio State -- He'll probably be better than Kevin Duckworth.
2. Sonics (Tom Ziller) pick: Kevin Durant, Texas -- "And when he came down from the mount, great multitudes did follow him..."
3. Hawks (TheHype) pick: Brandan Wright, North Carolina -- If this doesn't help, Dominique will definitely try to suit up next season
4. Grizzlies (Tom Ziller) pick Al Horford, Florida -- Horford is the perfect complement to Pau Gasol in the post. Also, he's better than anyone else on the board. Kind of a no-brainer.
5. Celtics (Tom Ziller) pick : Corey Brewer, Florida -- If Danny Ainge doesn't blow up the bathtub, Brewer could serve as a ready-right-now fit alongside Paul Pierce and Al Jefferson. Also, considering his last name, it would be best for everyone if he didn't end up in Milwaukee at #6. PUNS KILL.
6. Bucks (Brett Edwards) pick: Mike Conley, Ohio State -- If Milwaukee chooses not to overpay for Chauncey Billups or Mo Williams in free agency, Conley should be able to contribute right away.
7. Timberwolves (TheHype) pick: Joakim Noah, Florida -- A well-known and well-
8. Bobcats (The Big Lead) pick: Nick Young, USC -- Because with Wallace and Carroll likely leaving, this team will need somebody to create their own shot.
Tom Ziller: Wow, Nick Young top 10? Seems bold.
The Big Lead: Yeah, figured it's a wrinkle ... Thornton plays the same possession as Morrison, can't see Jordan taking a gander on a big man who raises some white flags (especially in wake of his Kwame Brown pick), and he won't go with Yi (at least I don't think so)
9. Bulls (Matt Watson) pick : Yi Jianlian -- The teams above are in such dire need of a "sure thing" that Jianlian just might fall -- but he won't get past the Bulls at No. 9.
10. Kings (TheHype): Julian Wright, Kansas -- He's the 'right man for the job!
See the rest of the draft: picks #11-20 and picks #21-30.

I want Nick Young to fall to the Wiz at 16 sooo bad. Of course, I'd welcome Jeff Green, Al Thornton and maybe a couple of others as well.

Young or Derrick Byars for the Wiz, please.
I love how three of the biggest Wiz fans in the blogosphere want three different guys.

Good stuff... Young in the top 10 seems a bit much to me, but you never know. I think they'd sooner go with Green or Yi, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. I love the draft!

The Hawks need to trade their #3, (Conley) + a Vet,(Josh Smith or either Williams; Sheldon or Marvin) to Portland (re-establishing the college dynamic duo Conley & Oden). Then this would take care of the Hawks two needs, Point & Center (J. Jack & Aldrige). Then with the 11th pick, they could add another 7 footer w/ the kid from Washington (Hawes).

I am concerned that Danny Ainge is going to screw this up somehow. The guy had a nice twenty-footer, but is he for real? Poor Red, I mean when the heck is Boston going to be a Basketball Champion again? I think that Larry Bird should come home to Boston and help this team out. I swear that Ainge has an adversion to making life easy. Eveything that has gone on since he took the helm at the head-office has turned out worse than bird-do. We don't need a top pick; we need a front-office like the Red Sox and Patriots have put together. These are the Boston Celtics for crying out loud. Where is Ainge's pride?

The celtics should hope brandon wright falls to them and then trade for Andre miller for Delonte west. Next year teh C's have the Timberwolves 1st pick which could be a lottery if Grnett gets traded they can probably make a trade and give up Ratliff for someone useful as he has a very tradeable cap figure they can also trade gerald greene and there 5th pick for randy Foye and Minnesota's 7th pick

You guys have Noah going way to high. Can't put the ball on the floor, too small to play pivot, and has no outside shot. Good luck Timberwolves if he falls there.

Even with their pg needs (Conley and probably Law will be off the board), I'm hoping the Clippers will get N. Young at #14. I'm scared, though, that Young will go to the Hornets at 13 and LAC will take Crittenton.

Since the Bucks got screwed by the draft gods/stern the one guy we really want (Horford) will be gone. Any one of Conley, Brandan Wright or Corey Brewer would make sense. However, if Larry Harris decides to really make a splash he can try and move up to #3 and get Horford or down in the draft if another team wants Yi.
