Half the fun of the NBA Draft is in the draft day suits. FanHouse's own Miss Gossip caught up with none other than the shiny suit man himself, P. Diddy, to dissect some of this year's fashions.
The global bad boy of music, fashion, television, restauranting, and business offers his opinions on a handful of stand-out dressers from the 2007 class.
Yi Jianlian (6th overall)
Miss Gossip: Yi played it safe with a pretty traditional ensemble, but I think he looks sharp. Do you agree?
Puffy: Most definitely. Here's a brother who knows how to dress right ... Yi is rocking a crisp Sean John suit from our latest collection. Sean John suits are all about impeccable tailoring and quality that lasts. Can't stop. Won't stop. Eh eh, eh eh.
Nick Young (16th overall)
Miss Gossip: Some have already crowned Young the best dressed of the night. Your thoughts?
Puffy: I'm not mad at the white jacket, white is hot right now. But if you're going white, do it right, with the full suit. I'm not feeling this. It looks like he's captaining the Love Boat or working at a restaurant or something. Yo my brother, let me get a piece of cheesecake.
Giorgis Printezis (58th overall)
Miss Gossip: Printezis is biting on Young's white jacket and black pants combo. Also hate it?
Puffy: Now this cat I can get down with. He looks like he's about to breeze through a club down in Miami. I love Miami, I record a lot of my music down there. And Miami cats don't wear those fitted caps, this kid knows how to pull the whole look off. That's Bad Boy, baby!
Gabe Pruitt (32nd overall)
Miss Gossip: I like this look -- Pruitt tried to be a little different with these earth tone colors.
Puffy: Naw, I'm not feeling the suit and tie colors. Let me put it this way: I never serve salmon with mustard at Justin's, my restaurant in New York. Open seven days a week, 31 W. 21st St., New York, NY.
Brandan Wright (8th overall)
Miss Gossip: I really like this look -- Brandan is wearing one of the few three-piece suits we saw and I think the lavender shirt and tie work well on him.
Puffy: Smile or die! No need to cover up those braces, there's no shame in trying to straighten out your grill. Everybody has something they need to work on ... my secret is I used to have acne until I started using Proactiv.
Joakim Noah (9th overall)
Miss Gossip: Another contender for Best Dressed, apparently. I guess I'm not mad at him for trying to be creative ... but ... years from now I think he might regret this.
Puffy: Mo' money, mo' problems. With a little work, this cat could be the NBA's Farnsworth Bentley.
Marco Belinelli (18th overall)
Miss Gossip: The monotone look doesn't always work, but I think Marco is Italian enough to pull it off.
Puffy: Only thing missing from this outfit is a pair of Sean John signature sunglasses ... in stores now.

2. can't stop, won't stop eh eh, eh eh just might be my favorite Chappelle show line ever...it's actually close with that, black gallaghers "i got warrants, tiger woods' "so long fried rice, hello fried chicken" and fa shizzle...and I can't forget, from making the band, "like can't stop won't stop" "breast milk...you make my day-ay."

9. Half the fun of the NBA Draft is the suits? If you're very shallow and either don't care about or understand basketball perhaps, but to each his own I suppose. I'll says this much, a great collection of suits won't ultimately keep any of these guys in the league if they can't play. It really is almost sad to think there are those who watched last night primarily to see what the players were wearing, but hey, if most people were intelligent then we'd live in a different world.

13. #1 - Noah is positioning himself to be one of the most popular NBA sideshows in ages. I hope he can produce on the court also.
#2 - Nick Young ABSOLUTELY looks like Benson.
