Proctor acted like a jackass, not like a Yankee. He has personally cost the Yankees about 10 games. Send him back to the minors. All he does is choke up in tight situations. He is one of their biggest failures....and at the end of the season the BOSS needs to make a clean sweep. Torre has lost control of the club and Guidry has failed miserably as a pitching coach. It's time to bring Joe Geradi back and to get an experianced pitching coach....and please, get them in shape for the start of the season. There is too much partying going on in Tampa during the pre-season.

Ah, Yankee fandom at it's finest. Knee-jerking calls for the heads of various personnel, demands for more stars without providing any means for them to be acquired. Proctor isn't the bad guy here. The Yankees need more guys like Proctor. He gets amped up, he's a gamer. Dude threw an insane 100+ innings out of the pen last year, popping sounds in his shoulder be damned. Not his fault the team has no nothing else in the middle of the pen to take the pressure off.

seems to me scott proctor is a scape goat for an over priced bunch of cry babies. the only players on the team that are worth keeping, jeter, posada, cano. go figure they are the only real yankees on the team. im not a yankee fan, but i watch them a lot and it seems everytime i watch, proctor comes in to pitch. so either he is pretty good, or the only pitcher in the bullpen. when a picher throws as often as he does, he will get knocked around. its not his fault he is the only pitcher they can rely on. oh, but clemens is back, all is great in the bronx. just another example of the yankees wasting money...does anyone really think clemens can carry the pitching staff? look at the mets, they are winning with good, young pitchers, and few veterans. do the yankees have a farm system?

Cashman is the worst GM EVER!!!! With UNLIMITED Funds the Yanks should win Every Year. What would Billy Bean in Oakland do with half of the Yanks Money? Win 3 or 4 W. Series in a row. Outside of the Bronx, everyone hates the Skanks, I mean Yanks. LMAO@The Skanks 2007 season. :)

It seems that the baseball magic in New York is now being had by the Mets! The Yankees could sure learn a lot from them--just look at them play! They are not under constant pressure to win like Steinbrenner puts on the Yankees, but the Mets still manage to win and enjoy what they are doing.

it is obvious he was frustrated. I'm thinking he's an inept Pitcher. But ya never know with them Baseball Players. They get into a funk and they gotta git rid of it somehow. So maybe this was his way of accomplishing a change in his pitching...

Sure , Scott Proctor has been used alot , but he still doesn't shine for the Yankees when they really need him . He pitches alot of innings , but that's all he gives the team .
As for Joe Torre , he's a great manager , but has no idea how to fire up his squad . He's to laid back with his players . I also think Don Mattingly , as great as he was for the Yankees in his playing days ,
should be reassigned to another part of the orginazation . He never went to a World Series in his playing days , and the Yanks haven't got to the World Series since he's been in the dugout . Might sound a bit superstitous , But i do believe in Karma , and Mattingly shouldn't be in the dugout .

wow yankee fan's just jump all over your 200 million dollar team they are having a bad year all of a sudden torre sucks cashman sucks but a few years back they were the greatest now proctor who pitched his heart out for 2 years and over used probaly is hurt or tired and having a bad year yup he sucks also being a die hard red sox fan i love it i hate the yankee's and hope they have loosing seasons for ever but if you love your team win or loose stick with them as me being a red sox fan know's heart ache but i always stand with my team no matter what and i have had my heat broken many times in 2004 everyone was down i kept saying it is not over yet it is a 7 game series not 3 one game at a time and wha la world series finally so yanks are having a bad year big deal not end of world relax and whatch they always seem to come back and make it a exciting year whatch i hate to remind anyone espcially yank fans but 1978 ring a bell ???
