let the man breath you talk about dog fights then sit in your livingrooms and watch these damn reality shows breaking real life humans down then we all watch boxing,karate,mixed martial arts in the cages on ESPN and will pay top dollar if it's on pay-per view. They are Pitbulls nobody wants them as house pets then why shouldn't they be game dogs? WHY because Mass Media can't make any money off of the fights if they could then it would be on in a million plus t.v. sets with high ratings talking about vic and other dogmen is the only way they can get the sport on T.v.

These black slave fights forced by rival white slave masters would sometimes involved two or three matches that lasted several hours. These fights generally ended when one black slave died or surrendered. Sometimes at the end of a fight, the losing black slave was drowned, strangled, hanged, shot or electrocuted by the slave master!!.
As you can see not much has changed over the years..!!!

You do NOT need to be "registered" to be a breeder. Anyone who wants to breed can, and do. 17 dead dogs on the property is not a lot. Dogs that do not fit into a breeding program are culled, either by sterilization or death.

Truly PATHETIC to bring race into it, when this is clearly a sickening series of acts committed against animals. Anyone who committed these acts, or knew about them and didn't stop them, should go to jail. Money and status should be no defense; neither should "ignorance" of what went on. Vick must have been working on his " plausible deniability" all along, which would sure seem to be an indicator that he knew it was wrong, and would taint him forever should it be found out. Injustices against people do not justify committing cruelty against the equally helpless generations later. It seems that all Americans should have more compassion for the victims of crimes committed every day against the weaker and more helpless-children and animals-instead of looking for ways to vindicate such mind-boggling horrors. Disgusting!!!!!

Mr. Vicks owns that land where the dogs bodies were found. What we should be concerned with is how they got there, did Mr Vicks know about it, and how did the authorities know to look there?

You don't want to know what punishment I feelwould be appropriate for low-lives who would submit animals to that level of uncivilized behavior. Perhaps a cattle prod and a chain around their necks would be a good start.

As a veterinarian, I am constantly confronted with man's cruelty to animals. However, Mr.Vick and his associates have reached a new low. How any one could watch a dog die slowly is unfathomable. When animals die, the light goes out of their eyes and one can see them pass away. I am sure this was lost on Mr.Vick. I can only hope Mr.Vick finds himself in the same position as he placed the poor dogs, suffering, people watching but no one helping him. I hope both his knees blow their ACL's, he gets so many concussions his brain, assuming their is one in his possesion, is one big mass of bleeding gray matter.

This is ridiculous, aolsportsblog.com are the same people that told us weeks ago that 36 dogs were found at the haunted vick house, then it turned out to be untrue, instead of apologizing for misleading their fan base, you guys blamed espn radio in an extremely lame manner. Now you are posting more dogs were found, yet a website that doesnt ususally post just large levels of bullshit, espn, isnt reporting anything yet. if you guys did it again its a wrap for you, stop trying to get a scoop at the expense of your credibility.

You have to love the brothers who are defending and comparing these dog fights to slave fights. All I can say is " keep living in the past people". It's 2007 and all you can say about a person brutalizing animals is " it's OK " and if you disagree, your a racist! Your attitude will keep your people forever enslaved in it's own bigotry. What is wrong, is wrong, I am black and ashamed of what this person did. He should be punished by the same laws that govern all of us.
