Isiah Won't Trade David Lee for Ron Artest

Despite earlier reports that the Knicks were ready to trade away David Lee to get their hands on Ron Artest, according to the NY Post, Isiah Thomas isn't willing to give up the rebounding machine that is Lee.
If the Knicks are to obtain Ron Artest in a summer package, they'll have to do it without Lee being included in the package. According to a person with knowledge of the situation, Knick president Isiah Thomas has not made Lee available in talks with Sacramento, nor will he in potential future talks.
As much as I want the Knicks to become the craziest team in pro sports (with Artest, Stephon Marbury, Nate Robinson, and Zach Randolph), giving up David Lee is simply not worth it. He's young; their best rebounder; plays defense; and contributes offensively without demanding shots.

That being said, I'm not sure I'm prepared to live in a world where Isiah makes sound decisions in the Knicks front office.
