#1. Jeter knows he has nothing to worry about when it comes to ladies if he and Barry both take aim at a babe.

#2. If everything I, or any red blooded male, said to our buds in private when just talkin' smack was broadcast for everyone to hear, we all would be in a heap of....trouble.

#3. If he did say it, he wasn't saying it out of jealousy, just stating the facts.

I like Jeter and think he is a good ball player. But, he is more along the lines of a Cal Ripen Jr. than he is a Ruth, Mantle or Gehrig.

He is very consistant and produces year in and year out. Talent wise though, he doesn't measure up to Alex R.

If Jeter played for the Twins or the Royals, he would stil be considered good and a probable Hall Of Famer, just not as good as he does playing for the Yanks.

But, from what I hear, he is a Hall of Famer in the Tail department

The egos, the B.S. and the comments made by these no class idiots brings more crap stains on the game of baseball. Hank Aaron, Stan Musial, Warren Spahn, Robin Yount, Lou Brock - those guys had and have more class, more dignity, more respect for the game in their pinky fingers than the punks do nowadays in their entire career. To some degree, I blame the media, but mostly - it's a lack of character. Notice how the Media promotes Biggio's accomplishment of 3,000 hits for what? Half a day? And continues to try to give losers like Sheffield plenty of press time while he whines about Joe Torre being a racist. What a load of crap. And who cares about how many sluts Jeter or A-Rod or Bonds sleep with? Why is it that you never heard about that kind of thing with Aaron, Frank Robinson, Cal Ripken, Ozzie Smith or the Yaz??? Why is it the media downplayed Ted Williams' 5 years of combat in WWII and Korea as a fighter pilot? Yet, the media will go on and on about some stupid party involving whore mongers in today's game? If the "bloggers" and reporters spent as much time learning about and writing about the real baseball icons, the real men in the game, real role models would be front and center in the world of professional sports - not these wannabes.

I have seen nothing to indicate that Jeter has any depth to his personality. It is a sad commentary to who he is that he is still competing for women. There is a name for women who sleep around and it seems to fit Jeter's behavior. At least Bonds is in a relationship.

Jeter is right. He probably would have more girls in NY. I don't thank that is being jealous. The girls just want to have their picture with Bonds because you hear his name mentioned everyday because of the record. If they knew his real personality and the way he treats the press and some of his teammates, they wouldn't won't to be standing next to him.

And I agree with the phantom, who really cares.

Hey why don't you stick to baseball. Lets talk about how many complete series that Bonds has played in compared to DJ. Maybe you want to report on the lack of controversy in the baseball life of Jeter. It must have been a slow day around all star camp for this to have passed the editors desk. Play between the lines.

Jeter always shows up and Is clutch. he is one of the best everyday player. He's over 300 for the year most of the time. By the way I'm a Met fan and I still think he's better the E Rod. Woops I ment A Rod. LOL
