Contrary to the widespread reports that Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was not an active participant in the dog fighting ring that was apparently run on his property, the indictment handed down against him today indicates that Vick was involved in all activities, including killing the dogs with his own hands. Page 17 of the indictment says that on one occasion, Vick and two others killed eight fighting dogs that had shown in testing sessions they weren't strong enough to win fights:
In or about April 2007, PEACE, PHILIPS, and VICK executed approximately 8 dogs that did not perform well in "testing" sessions at 1915 Moonlight Road, by various methods including hanging, drowning and slamming at least one dog's body to the ground.
As Pro Football Talk notes, April of 2007 was the same month that Vick was asked about the property at 1915 Moonlight Road and claimed, "I'm never there."

I hope Vick gets hung,shot,electrocuted or drowned.Even if he observed what was going on. But, knowing the laws in this country,especially when a star athlete is involved,they will probably slap him on the wrist and he'll be playing again next year.

But it's his actions that make him scum, not his skin. That said. I hope he gets the maximum punishment allowable by law, as well as his heinous associates.

This is not a racial, economic, or cultural issue. It is not a culture that teaches people to behave in such a manner any more than it is a culture who teaches people to murder, rape, molest, etc. Vic is an arrogant and cruel individual who finds entertainment in the sickest of things!!!

In no defense to Vick, but why should he be punished. I say slap the NFLs hand, they create many bad people like this. Think about it. When you give big strong people money, fame, and immunity, they justify the law. I am a fellow football player and I dream to be pro ,but the NFL has generated some terrible people and it needs to be stopped.
