In an appearance this evening on ESPNews, Atlanta-based reporter Len Pasquarelli said he talked to a source who had just gotten off the phone with Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, and that Vick is "devastated" by the indictment on conspiracy charges related to a dog fighting ring run out of his Virginia property.
Pasquarelli also reported that people within the Falcons organization are "a little surprised" that Vick was indicted. That's hard to fathom -- haven't they been reading the papers, watching TV, or listening to talk radio? How can anyone be surprised, given how much information was publicly available to tie Vick to dog fighting?

What a F$%&in loser! He's "devastated"? At what, getting caught or torturing helpless animals? Yes, let's blame the breed. With that, maybe we can also blame the race or the stupidity. Too much money and too much cruetly equals one demonized asshole who I hope rotts.

Len Pasquarelli is the biggest (literally) idiot on TV. I am baffled that he still has a job as an "analyst" for ESPN. His comments that the Falcons' camp is surprised at the indictment says it all.

Uh, ok, I just read the whole indictment statement, let me tell you something... Mike Vick is totally screwed. There are 4 cooperating wittnesses that testify against him, that personally watched him fight dogs, run the whole opperation, kill and torture dogs, and bet tons of money in fights, most of which, hilariously, he lost. If anyone else takes the time to read it, it is very condemning and its looking like Vick will receive the maximum penalty for the crimes if they can prove everything they say happend here. 4 Guys is a lot to whack, so I think that option is out. Looks like Ookie is goin' the prison to get the raping of ass.

Mike Vick is a thug and Len Pasquarelli is an apologist for Ron Mexico and P Man. And, quite frankly so is Mort at this point. On SportsCenter he said that Vick hasn't had "any legal problems" during his time in the NFL. That's a load of bull. Ron Mexico (Herpes), flicking off fans, water bottle incident. What are those? The point is he isn't a "good guy" like Beamer said, he is a bad person with big problems.

This is America and all are innocent until proved otherwise. But having said that if any of this is true then this idiot is done like a Thanksgiving Turkey (Maybe turkey fights are next in line). I am not a bleeding heart liberal (hardly) but this is heartbreaking that MV could be so stupid and cruel. Soon he will prove himself a coward by blaming (Family members) others for his responsibilities. It is also heartbreaking that these great dogs are treated this way. MV has a history of bad decision making and a history of NOT CARING about anyone but himself
As they say "Everything comes full circle"
Shame on MV for what he has done anbd what he is about to do

Mike, thanks for keeping the info coming over the long haul. The real dogs out there who have jumped you since day one owe you an apology that you'll never get.
Stak and other fools will never change their ways. Screw them as they scramble to come up with news ways to ignore the facts. Black racists are no better than white racists. And we've seen to many of the latter as well.
Anyway, I appreciate the information Fanhouse has provided.

The Falcon's are surprised ?????? Their management must think America is completely stupid. Wake up and smell the dead dogs. The Falcon's are as guilty as Vick for allowing this freakin criminal on their team. Their worried about winning games when this thug has done nothing but brought shame and inflicted new levels of sadistic behavior to animals. Stand up to the plate in Atlanta and the NFL and kick him to the curb - NOW!!!!!!!!!

To Michael D. Smith- Well said. To Bigdkslammer, Benjamin, Brendagirl, Vince, Stunna2, dgtyjo, Ray and Stak- What say you now? Would you like some Ketchup with that crow your eating? How about some ice cream with that humble pie? Or maybe you would like to tell us what it's like to eat your words! I guess it really doesn't matter- if he's convicted (which he will be), kicked out of the league and jailed, yourselves and people like you will still defend your "brutha". Vick isn't even a good liar, much less a good QB! You people are the true racists. You are a disgrace to civilized humanity.

Just another example of what Newsweek points out in this week's edition, that ESPN has simply become an apologist for most pro sports and the athletes. ESPN is no longer unbiased, and I challenge everyone to use their remote controls to show the network their opinions of their crappy "journalism".

Mike Vick needs to be put in a pen with one of these fighting pit bulls and let's all wager on whether he can escape its grueling lockjaw. Seriously...not only did he watch some of them die, but he actually did the killing himself at times??He's a piece of shit and any fan that actually supports him is a disgusting, void human being who clearly has never owned a precious dog. Whatever happens, I doubt that MV will be able to escape the terrible stigma that is sure to follow him the rest of his pathetic life. Of course, the NFL will continue to support him because he can throw touchdown passes. And such people will still be able to sleep at night most likely as long as the dough from Vick is rolling in...

How GHETTO! He shot, electicuted, hung, drowned and in one case slammed the dogs body against the ground to kill them. What an A**hole. He even had t-shirts and headbands make with his "compound" logo on them.
Just goes to show you can take the brutha outta the hood, but you cant take the hood outta the brutha.

Michael Vick said he was devastated(that he got indicted). We should all be devastated that such torture of dogs is happening all across America and we should all make an effort to stop it, including the NFL and Atlanta Falcons in particular, and all sponsors of Michael Vick. Let's hope the humane society and law enforcement will make this wagering on dog fights a higher priority. After all, it is a felony offense and is sickeningly cruel.
