In its airing of the latest Michael Vick news, ESPNews gave us a Freudian slip, in which Vick was referred to not by his last name, but by a derogatory word that rhymes with his last name:
The clip shows both the mistake that was made live and the corrected version that ESPN showed when it re-aired the story.

"Freudian slip" is a good way to describe this. After all, there are people with a last name "Dick."
From the text, I thought she may have called him "prick." Also not a bad description.

Too many women are "trying" to announce Sports and be sports Reporters anyways. Sounds like she was thinking about something other than sports or the alleged crimes. Maybe she should keep her mind off of genitals and try to join The View.

I think her slip up was the result of some tricky writer trying to write too cleverly, but Freudian slip gets my second vote... lol

She could have been slightly more accurate if his name was pass and she dropped the "p".

What is the matter are people getting ruffled because the poor old milionare may b in some really deep trouble. Vick, OOkie or Ron Mexico who ever he is is a moron. He may have a great attorney but this time he angered some people who love animals. He is not going to be fighiting to prove he was not bringing weed to the airport this time. Mike Vick is nothing more than an urban terrorist who needs to go away so he can not influence anymore young people. His punishment should show the sporting world that they have an image to protect that is much bigger than their personal ego.

She was mad because Michael Vick is a bad guy instead of a saviour of the Falcons. Anyone in an act of anger will say nasty words.
