No sport hold its traditions and iconography more sacred than college football. One of the best rituals is watching Georgia Tech's Ramblin Wreck drive out onto the field at Bobby Dodd. The old car hasn't missed a game since 1961. However, its streak of 291 appearances remains in trouble.
Earlier this summer the classic Ford got smashed in a traffic accident. Since that time an army of Tech volunteers have been trying to rebuild it. While things are progressing, getting the car ready for the September 8 home game is in real doubt. No one is really at fault for the delays. It's not like you can just check out your local Autozone for parts of a Model A. The engineers working on the project are getting the outdated pieces and paint wherever they can.
If the car isn't back by kickoff, Tech fans can celebrate a more recent tradition – inconsistent play from Chan Gailey squads.

1. What's the deductible on that thing? Should have switched to Esurance - quote, buy, print!

2. Your writing is just fantastic. I'm sure the New Yorker will be giving you a call any day now. Just make sure to completely change your topic at the end of every article you write, and I'm sure you'll be set.
