Here we go! Bengals WR
Chad Johnson told a group of reporters after practice that he's
cooked something up for us for the season opener against the Ravens on Monday Night Football.
"Week 1, if I touch the end zone you will laugh for a lifetime. I guarantee you," said the Pro Bowl wide receiver to a gathering of reporters following a sultry Monday morning practice in full pads at Georgetown College. "Marvin (Lewis) might sit me down for the next game but it will live on for a lifetime."
Quite the promise there. As for being fined? Well ...
"I know it's stupid to say and it's not good, some people aren't going to like it but I've set aside (fine) money again, like I did in '05 and that was a ridiculous year where I had fun," said Johnson. "I'm having fun again. I've got to have fun. This is a business and you've got to understand the business, the ins and outs of it, and to keep my mind off of it I continue to have fun. This will be a year to entertain, not just myself but the fans in Cincinnati and around the world. This is going to be a fun year."
That was also a fun year for the team as they won the AFC North and went to the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.

hey Chad, how about you contributing and focusing on the TEAM? Quit being a clown and talking about TD celebrations. ever consider being a part of a Championship TEAM? Clearly the Bengals are and will continue to be an average team, when this clown is the spokesperson for the TEAM. Hey Chad, how about helping your teammates stay out of the slammer and challenge each other to try and win games? Hell, you never know, you may even get a chance to go to this big event called the "Super Bowl."

Show off antics like this and that of WR will soon drive fans away from the game. It is unprofessional, in bad taste and boring. Play the game and act like you are a TEAM member , not an indiviual nut that is surprised you scored ALL BY YOURSELF.

I really like Johnson, in part, because he is incredibly talented and makes some amazing plays but also because he doesn't take himself or the NFL too seriously.
And just because he is having some fun while playing does that mean he is not a team player? Does anybody on the Bengals doubt his desire to win? Have you heard any Bengals complaining about Johnson?

Oh Great news Chad is going to make all laugh! You are being paid to perform as an athlete, unless I am wrong you are a football player? or are you just insiting upon ruins for the team, which by the way does have players who!are for the team, NOT ABOUT I.
aND THE ONLY REASON YOU CAN BOAST ABOUT HAVING FUNDS READY IS IN PART TO YOUR BOGUS BULL SHIT PRANKS SUCH AS THE FUNNY BONE!
I think maybe Marvin Lewis should bench you and your big mouth now!Maybe you and your posse can get a grip and just stfup!
