Yesterday, Ziller told you that Barack Obama was like a young George Gervin at Occidental. Here he is in action a few years earlier, during his high school days in Honolulu.

For one thing, the players are pretty big for h.s. (esp. in the 70s). For another, the announcer alludes to the crowd being 6,000 people. That doesn't sound like a Hawaii high school turnout, even for a state finals.I have to say, I rather agree with him. In my defense, it's identified as high school on YouTube. That's what I get for trusting the internet.

4. as someone who briefly lived in hawaii, I can share that this is not at all large for a HS sporting event. they play the HS football championships in the same stadium as the pro bowl
