Detroit Lions defensive tackle Shaun Rogers is being sued by a topless dancer who says he groped her and threatened her life, leading her to suffer "mental and emotional injuries, fright and shock, pain and suffering, embarrassment and humiliation, anxiety and depression, and loss of earnings and earning capacity."

Rogers was accused of bursting into a private room at a Detroit strip club and groping the stripper while toting a gun. But prosecutors investigated and declined to press charges. The stripper's lawyer says that doesn't mean Rogers can't lose a civil suit:

"Apparently the prosecutor thought they couldn't prove something beyond a reasonable doubt," he said. "But the burden of a civil case is basically: Who do you believe?"

Rogers returned to practice Tuesday for the first time after missing training camp with a knee injury.
