FanHouse's Top Five scans the sports blogosphere for the best posts of the last 24 hours so you don't have to. Got something for this feature? Hit us up at fanhouse@googlegroups.com.1) Epic Carnival gives us a peek into Matt Mosley's, he of Hasmarks fame, life and process. There's some interesting stuff in there, like the admission that at one time he owned two pairs of parachute pants and a Members Only jacket. Why didn't he sport those for his ESPN mug?

3) Awful Announcing makes me excited for the Bears this season. Don't crush my hopes, Chicago.
4) Via the Big Lead, here's what football coaches in the PAC-10 are making.
5) This doesn't have much to do with sports or blogging (except for the upcoming Kanye vs. 50 record-selling battle) but I recommend you check out "Homecoming," a track of Kanye's new Graduation disc. It features Chris Marin of Coldplay on the hook and well, it's outstanding -- even though the verses are just a rehash of West's mixtape track "Home" with John Legend. (Update: As commenters have pointed out, this song might not do it for everyone. Blame it on my K. West bias. Sorry.)

I'm not sure I'm with you on the new Kanye track as the whole somewhat-cheesy-white-dude-sings-the-hook-on-a-rap-tune thing is starting to annoy me.

Kanye is overhyped imho. And Coldplay just isn't good. We get it, dude. You're British, you're somewhat melancholy and you like clocks.

I used to think Kayne was good for hip-hop. I even liked when he called out Pres Bush. Then Kayne said Justin Timberlake pushes him to be better. Eric B., KRS-1, and Big Daddy Kane would have never said Michael Jackson or Prince pushes them as rappers. Perfect example of lowest-common-denominator rap as the genre continues floundering in its own "hair metal" stage.

I wouldn't go so far as to call K. West "lowest-common-denominater" rap.
I think that title is reserved for stuff like "Pop, Lock and Drop It," "Do Your Chain Hang Low" and some of that other cookie-cutter nonsense.
But again, I'm an unabashed Kanye fan, so my logic may be a bit clouded here.
