The bloggers here at the NFL portion of Fanhouse recently huddled up in a basement, put together our heads and came up with our predictions for the 2007 NFL season.
We don't just have our Super Bowl predictions [go after the jump to see our picks], but the entire NFL. We picked each division how we saw fit. Below is how the voting went, along with the links to our writers previews of each team.
Wildcard teams:
- AFC: Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos
- NFC: Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys
|
|---|
Here are the voters of this poll, and their individual picks for the Super Bowl:
- Dan Benton: Ravens over Rams
- David J. Warner: Patriots over Bears
- DC Sports Guy: Chargers over Redskins
- Enrico Campitelli Jr: Chargers over Eagles
- JJ Cooper: Saints over Colts
- MJD: Chargers over Eagles
- Sportz Assassin: Patriots over Saints
- Stephanie Stradley: Patriots over Saints
- Tom Mantzouranis: Saints over Steelers
- Josh Alpren: Patriots over Bears

1. I felt bad about picking the Skins to go to the Super Bowl ... until I saw Benton's NFC pick.

2. I still can't get over that. Redskins to the Super Bowl? Hey, at least I didn't go total homer and suggest the Giants were gonna get there.
And remember that Rams pick when Super Bowl time rolls around.

4. Jamie, them Redskins are going to be impressive this year. I almost had them winning the East over the Eagles, but I'm quite positive McNabb is going to tear it up this year, give the Eagles a big "Eff you," and demand a trade or release next offseason.
And yes, I went with the homer pick too. But you'll all be believers after the Saints hang 50 on the Colts tonight.

6. No love for the Dolphins, again. I find it funny that all sport writers (bloggers and professionals) view games against the Fins as free wins.
While our offense will hardly keep anybody up at night, our defense is elite and will keep us in most games. We've always managed to set it up and play well against the good teams. Prepare to be sacked Tom Brady.

11. I am so glad they have picked the Patriots. Our coach is going down in NFL History as the best coach ever.He took our Patriots and turned them into the frachise they now are.GO PATRIOTS GO.

12. Here we go again, PAT fans picking up from last year's loss to the COLTS. Blaming the refs. Shameful. Obviously in denial. Prepare yourself for another disappointing loss to the COLTS again in the AFC Championship (if you make it that far). Cowboy critics who don't "believe the hype" - Believe it. Eagles lost their best quarterback in Jeff Garcia, they're going to tank this year.

Ravens over Eagles: 27-24...going down to the last play
