When he took the field against the Chiefs yesterday, Texans defensive tackle Amobi Okoye made history as the youngest NFL player since the start of the common AFL-NFL draft in 1967, at 20 years and 91 days old.Okoye came to America from Nigeria at age 12 and tested into the ninth grade. He registered one tackle in his debut."Today marked the day in history, or whatever," said Okoye, who had one tackle. "But I don't want to look at it that way. I just want to look at it as what got you here is what you've got to keep on doing. You can't see yourself as being extraordinary or anything like that.
"You've always carried yourself as something ordinary. This is what you're supposed to do. So why don't you keep on doing it that way?"
