ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has ordered the Patriots to turn over all videos, notes and other documents relating to Patriotgate, and that if the team doesn't comply, more sanctions could be coming.Mortensen also reports that Goodell is "aware that there had been other incidents involving the Patriots in recent years."
I find it hard to believe that there will be further sanctions, though. Goodell doesn't strike me as the type who's going to take action on an issue like this until he has all the information he needs, and that makes me think this request for the Patriots' evidence is more a formality than anything else.

Perhaps the current sanction reflects only the penalty for the one game incident with Jets. There was enough evidence to penalize the Pats for that.
However, if more evidence is revealed for different games, they could be penalized for those as well.

Suspend "Goggles" Belichick for the whole season! This will send a message to the rest of the amateur Spy Masters that the same thing will happen to them. It is absolutely ridiculous that nothing else has been said about this. This Is ALSO a VIOLATION of NFL ETHICS RULES!! If nothing else is said or done to penalize "Goggles," it only means if you are White you are Right!

Wow. This is huge. If the Pats have been doing this for years, that's a bunch of material.
If the Pats don't turn over everything, it only takes one ex-employee to reveal that they haven't and Belichick is toast.
If the Pats have done other shady things, it will be there in the records. And Belichick is toast.
If Goodell holds the Pats' feet to the fire, what are the odds that Belichick makes it through the season? Because I think the only way he survives without serious suspension is if the Jets infraction is the only one. And the word around the league is that it isn't the only time they've done this.
I don't know the odds, but I would say that there is now a chance (that is not minimal) that Belichick could be in some really serious trouble.

If Mike Vick can be penalized for being STUPID and VIOLATING NFL ETHICS GUIDELINES, and by the way what he did had NO IMPACT ON FOOTBALL (a business) GAMES, what "Goggles" Belichick should be censured to a higher degree!

Michael Vick is a murder! What he did is far worse than what Belichick because he killed animals. He broke a US law. Belichick broke a rule. There really is no comparison.
