Just in case you thought the Eagles play on the field the past two weeks wasn't ugly enough, the Birds are going to get even uglier!That's right, for Sunday's game, the Eagles are busting out their 75th anniversary jerseys. And no, they are not modeled after the UCLA Bruins but rather the 1933 version of the Philadelphia Eagles.
I don't know about you, but if i had $275 in cash laying around, there's nothing I'd rather get than a Brian Dawkins 1933 Authentic Throwback jersey. Wait, nevermind. I just thought of about six hundred and forty seven things I'd rather spend my money on.
Get excited Eagles fans because on Sunday, you don't have to bleed green. Bleeding baby blue is much healthier anyway. And heck, if you happen to drop your Tony Luke's cheesesteak on your jersey, the whiz will blend right in!
In more serious news, the 75th anniversary team will be honored this Sunday. That should be pretty cool to see.

5. Oh dear god. Those are horrible. And, hell, it was twenty-four short hours ago when I was sitting at the bar and some guy was mocking the Eagles performance on Monday night and I thought to myself, "Geez, I haven't been this ashamed to be an Eagles fan in a long time." 7. My God! Don't you people have lives. The only thing that matters about football uniforms is the quality and ability of the players wearing them. 8. Uniform-shmuniform, at this stage, the name of the game is winning! Some players think WHINNING is the best thing. Could this be a feeble attempt to mask the obvious? This current team needs a better offensive attack, not a snazzier uniform! It amuses me how this team can go from a predicted contender for the Lombardi trophy to a team that only sees $$ signs for marketing purposes. If they want to sell something to the fans, make attempts to improve, not put this team in a different color scheme and think that the fans won't notice. As a huge Eagles fan myself, "You can't snow the snowman!", or better still, "Don't piss in my ear then tell me it's raining!"

9. I love the Eagles, snatched up so many jerseys since the late 80s. This is ONE jersey I will not be buying. Looks like some European soccer uniform.
If there was any jersey they should be wearing, it's maybe the simple 1960 (when we won the championship) or 80/81 when we went to Super Bowl XV

Call these jerseys what you want but, these are "old skool"(for sure!) and Itis clear that, the old skool spirits are with these guys!All calls are on point and, McNabb is comfortable and confident! (No knee brace today BUDDDDDYYYYY!!!!!) Give these guys thier props! (I should be a sports commentator, huh?!) anyway, enjoy the rest of the game..... yours truly!!!!

12. I turned on the television late and couldn't believe my eyes. The scoreboard said PHI 7 and that couldn't have been the Birds on the field against Detroit. The Eagles scored a touchdown? AND wearing fugly uniforms?
