Adidas is giving out 75,000 white towels on Saturday for Charlie Weis' charity, Hannah & Friends, and the official Notre Dame Web site, UND.com.
The towels, given out on a first-come, first-serve basis, will read "Tradition Never Graduates -- Notre Dame Football."

So let me get this straight. Notre Dame stadium is going to be filled with Notre Dame fans wearing dark green Notre Dame shirts and waving white towels......while playing against a Michigan State team that has a rally cry of "Go Green, Go White."
Please, someone, anyone...kill this idea.
Reality is sometimes far more interesting than fiction.

5. Everyone pounces when teams are down. A heck of a lot more parity has come to college football. Once strong teams will now, more than ever, begin to experience victory droughts and teams will come out of nowhere to compete for a top spot.

8. Again when someone doesnt want to think, they say its racial lol sheesh that is getting old old old. Bringing Charlie, a Notre Dame graduate with big name in NFL, had nothing to do with wanting him to coach there. I am not even a Notre Dame fan but like most of United States, tired of the R word being thrown around for NO reason.

12. Um, Big Ten fan? A team that goes 0-9 in bowl games and who's biggest claim to fame last year was throwing for 500 yards against ARMY (my high school team could do that) isn't in a drought. That is far worse than a drought

But Willingham was a hire that backfired. ND hired him BECAUSE he was black. No other reason. He was not a good fit there and did a horrible job. He got cut loose because he sucked too.

17. Everytime someone fails or someone hires someone, its not racism lol I agree Charlie will be gone too if this keeps up and should be. If your the owner of business or in charge of hiring for a college, you want the best to take you to the top, you don't care if white, black or green etc. Can see everyday somewhere in this country now days, just yell racism if doesn't go your way. Time to get a grip.

19. Even since Spygate popped to the surface, the offensive genius that everyone labels Charlie W with seems a bit tarnished. By knowing the defensive schemes of the other team, calling a brilliant offensive game is child's play. CW is a fraud. ND got duped.
