LeBron James Is a Front-Runner

Clearly, fans in Cleveland are a little put off by LeBron James wearing a Yankees hat to the Indians' game last night, and honestly, I think they have a point. This isn't Tom Brady walking around town wearing a Yankees hat caught on film by the paparazzi, this is LeBron James flaunting his allegiance to a rival team on television. My favorite reaction so far? Former Indians pitcher and Hall of Famer Bob Feller:
"I'm going to a Cavaliers game and sit right by their bench, wearing a Detroit Pistons cap. Let's see how LeBron likes that."
Personally, I don't see what the big deal is. LeBron is a front-runner, not a fan. There's a huge difference. He's a Yankees fan, Bulls fan and Cowboys fan ... and I'm willing to guess at some point in his childhood he pined after a Miami Hurricanes lunchbox. If the Indians really want LeBron to wear a hat, they'll need to win a title first.

But c'mon, is anyone actually surprised? LeBron has had everything come to him on a silver platter, he has absolutely nothing in common with being an underdog. Goliath doesn't cheer for David -- he wouldn't even know how.
