Amare Stoudemire may have undergone surprise knee surgery, but he's around camp and in high spirits. According to Coro's Suns Dish, he's really, really excited about his revamped website:

OK, Amare, we'll bite: Amare Stoudemire has been telling us that his name is not Amare Stoudemire anymore.

"My name now is amarestoudemire.com," he keeps saying.

I have no idea if this clumsy marketing move is really innocent or Golden Palace cynical. Probably some combination of the two.

However, there's a dark side to this new site. As Coro points out, it prominently features a poll about the future of disgruntled Shawn Marion. The options: a long-term deal, a trade, a one-year deal, or cutting him. Ouch. The first one had "a healthy lead," but suggesting Marion be cut is just plain mean. I'm sure Amare himself had nothing to do with this, and that whoever included it did so without thinking first. But for the sake of Phoenix, I hope Marion's not paying attention to Amare's ceaseless self-promotion.
