Redskins wide receiver Brandon Lloyd implied today during a radio interview that Hall of Fame Cowboys quarterback and Fox broadcaster Troy Aikman is gay. Lloyd's comments included:"I don't believe Troy Aikman anyway. He wasn't man enough to admit his personal life situation while he was a player.... So I have a tough time believing him. ... And there's nothing wrong with his personal life, you know, I have nothing wrong with, with.... Hey, I'm speculating too. Troy's speculating and I'm speculating."
In case there's any doubt that the "speculating" refers to sexual orientation, the hosts erased that doubt by bringing up rumors that Jeff Garcia is gay, to which Lloyd responded, "No, man, Garcia's not gay, he's my homeboy."
There were rumors (perpetuated by Skip Bayless, who at the time was a columnist in Dallas) that Aikman was gay during his time with the Dallas Cowboys in the 1990s.

These rumors have been around for a long time. I don't like Bayless either, but don't shoot the messenger. And who cares anyway? Odds are that at least 4-5 of the players on your favorite NFL team are gay.

It is perfectly obvious that the man is an idiot who is very fortunate to have been given athletic ability so as to earn a very good living. I think this is all part of the Gary Sheffield Syndrome - any dumb jock speaks, the even dumber reporters write it down and then repeat and repeat it. What offense did Aikman commit? Did he dare say the Lloyd was not the greatest receiver in history? By the way, WHO IS HE? I never even heard of the neanderthal. At lease dopey Sheffield can hit and is good.

Also, sometimes homosexuals have wives and ex-girlfriends. Not saying Troy is or isn't (I have no idea and I don't care), but the truth is that a lot of homosexuals date/marry women just to not be ostracized. That would be especially true for a profession where being gay is downright forbidden!
