I kind of hate doing the "OMG, did you hear who Player X is sleeping with?!!" posts. I mean, they're fun every now and then just to see traffic and comments spike, but they're also kind of embarrassing (not to mention completely false nine times out of 10). That's why I passed on the random "DeShawn Stevenson wants Lindsey Lohan's number because it says so on MySpace" thing that floated around yesterday. And in hindsight, I'm glad I did. Illustrious blogs such as With Leather, The Big Lead and Deadspin have all made posts about a message concerning Lindsay Lohan that appeared on Stevenson's MySpace page today.So we learned two lessons today: 1) everything you read on the internet isn't always true; and 2) famous people need like six MySpace profiles. Oh, and: 3) NBA players don't realize everyone else has left MySpace for Facebook. (Burn!)
