The College Football Songbook is a weekly feature in which we'll be making as much fun as humanly possible of the most embarrassing moments in college football. Through words, music, and related video we'll leave a lasting memory implanted on the brains of the vanquished that they are not soon to forget.
No major upsets this week, and Phil Fulmer and the Vols just had to go ahead and win in overtime. So we bring you our thoughts on the world's largest outdoor cocktail party.
Hat Tips:
Special hat tip as always to Pete Holiday for putting the video together.

Debi- Loosen up. Trust me, Gator fans are just as bad as any others. And I have seen plenty of Gator videos directed at FSU, Ohio State, Tennessee, etc.

Debi: 47-37-1, Georgia.
I know this is hard to believe as a Florida fan, but football was in fact played in this country prior to 1990.

This is for the guy at the top:
Sir or ma'am not quite sure which you are, but you are obviously ignorant in you ranting. Or just overall ignorant.
For starters we do have class..and if it takes an intentional celebration to get out team pumped up to beat your ass then so be it.
Secondly...what in the blue hell is the "SEC PLAY OFF" i was unaware that we had a play off. Maybe it is the Conference Championship that you are talking about.
Third...WE ARE STILL UP IN THE ALL TIME SERIES. CHECK YOUR RECORD BOOKS...THE DAWGS STILL LEAD the series.
Fourth...the last time we were national champs was in 1980 or technically it was the '81 Sugar Bowl that we won.
And finally...suck it up and get over yourself, everyone gets beat...just deal with it.

Ok--Florida got beat--I can deal with that...what really bothers me is the Georgia team storming the field after a touchdown. Does anyone realize how bad that could have turned out? SEC teams do not pull such low-class and idiotic stunts. But I guess with a head coach who hails from Miami (known for bench-clearing brawls) and who coached at FSU (one the the dirtiest playing, cheating,low-class teams in the country), it's to be expected. Hey Georgia--you won the game--how bout acting like you've been in the end zone before and not like it was your first time ever there? And as for Mark Richt--the SEC penalty that the Georgia boosters will have to end up paying should come out of his pocket instead. It was a planned stunt-endorsed by a red-neck head coach and showed no class or intelligence at all. It could have turned into an ugly brawl fest but Florida has more class and than that (not to mention that instead of fighting, the Florida Gators were too busy shaking their heads in disbelief and astonishment at such an unsportsmanlike and stupid act)

Figator...I'm sorry, but I'm trying real hard to discuss football with you when you obviously don't know about it. First of all, the penalty that Georgia received for the celebration was actually 2 penalties, and the only way a team pays for them is by getting yardage either added to or subtracted from the following possession. The school does NOT have to pay money for a penalty.

Guess that is what Tebow did by dialing his imaginary cellphone after scoring a TD against LSU, huh?

LuvsDawgs--before you go getting all condescending about "teaching" me about football maybe you should research the NCAA rules and regulations regarding unsportsmanlike conduct and the penalties for such. The SEC does fine schools for actions that are flagrant violations of the rule--If they fine schools for fans getting on the field, doesn't it stand to reason that they will fine a school for a football team/coach and staff's group effort at intentionally breaking the rules? And if you're not sure what condescending means, please look it up in the dictionary--that's a big book with lots of words in it and the meanings of those words. If storming the field after a mere touchdown is ok, then I suggest that every team that plays Georgia needs to employ this tactic--apparently there's nothing wrong with it according to GA fans! The SEC and the NCAA is not going to fine a school for the actions of an individual but they sure as heck will when it is an entire team violating the rules along with a coach who suggests, encourages and condones such acts. If Georgia wants to act like they have no class or integrity, then they should leave the SEC and join up with a conference who loves that sort of thing. Georgia gave the SEC a black-eye on Saturday with that stupid act and it will take classy teams like Florida, Alabama and Vandy to erase it. And as for your patronizing comment, I expect such from someone who is obviously a little man trying to make himself look and feel bigger. My diagnosis for you is Napoleon Complex--good luck with that.

Ya, thats what Gaytor fans are known for, their "class". What a joke, Gaytor fans have the least amount of class of any fans. They're so classy when their crying like babies (Tebag too) when they lose a game. Get over it Gaytors, you aren't the champs anymore. Quit living in the past.

Kelly--please borrow a dictionary and learn the correct usage of the word "they're" which is the word you should have used instead of "their". I suspect that you are a Criminole fan based on your hatred of the Gators. Do you have a single incident based on fact to support your claim regarding Gator fans? I think not. And besides, we're discussing the lack of class when it comes to an entire football team and their coach--not what fans do and don't do.

Gators have class? Gee... I guess jumping up and down on the LSU Tigers' logo before they stomped your jort-wearing butts is class huh? I guess doing the Gator chomp in the face of everybody not driving a Camaro and sporting a wife-beater is class, right? Urban Crier should know a lot about what's "illegal" especially after five Gators were charged with felonies in the off-season.
Go dye your roots and admire your tramp-stamp, idiot and leave intelligent discussion to people with a brain.
