It's OK to laugh because she's not hurt too badly:
That was a cheerleader at Auburn High School in suburban Seattle, just before the team's game against rival Auburn Riverside.

ya know what? It wouldnt ahve happened if she wasnt on the feild. Name one time that a team has credited a cheerleader with winning the game? When's the last time anybody stopped to even listen to what a cheerleader and her buddies are screaming about? If you're not playing defense, blocking, tackling, catching the ball or running with the ball, maybe you shouldnt be on the feild.. either get a towel or a bottle of water and help the team.. or get off the feild.. If you wanna be apart of the team.. then sign up.. but you have no bussiness being on the feild. A kicker barely has bussiness being on the feild, who do you think you are? A pretty face? And.. what are you doing for the team? Absolutley nothing.. get off the feild you want get trampled

It is her "air headed" fault for attempting to hold the banner in the middle, until someone grabbed her attention. By then it was too late

Josh, first of all, look into getting "spellcheck". Secondly, the kid is a teenaged girl having fun as a cheerleader. What is your issue? Is she hurting anyone? I played ball through college and the cheerleaders were always a big asset to us. I'll bet you've NEVER been on a playing field.

I was a cheerleader and we do deserve to be on the field!!! We make most of those banners and we are appointed to hold them. She didnot know obviously the team was running at that time. It was an untimely event but she does have a right to be on the field. Whoever sent the email stating the pretty face, etc. you are jealous!! Probably a rejected try out!!!

As mean as it sounds it was a bit funny. Miss cheer had no business behind the banner. She knew it was going to be torn through. Who cares if something was hanging on the back?! Leave it! No one is going to notice.

Josh, have some anger issues? Cheerleaders have the right to be on the field. Even though they are not playing the actual game, they are part of the football package experience. I also agree with Joe C-spellcheck!

Cheerleaders deserve to be on the field because they are cheering the players on. My daughter is a cheerleader and not only do they get the crowd going, they support the players. I'm sure if that girl knew she would be trampled, she would have moved.
