Titans cornerback Pacman Jones was suspended for the entire 2007 season, but he was told at the time of his suspension that if he were a model citizen, he could be reinstated after 10 games. Jones hasn't been a model citizen, but he's meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Jones has actually said -- with a straight face -- that he thinks Goodell will reinstate him.
Titans coach Jeff Fisher understands that that won't be happening:
"My clear understanding is Pac has been suspended for the regular season; that was the commissioner's ruling,'' Coach Jeff Fisher said Thursday. "I don't think it is uncommon the commissioner would bring those kinds of cases up for review, but that doesn't mean to say he's going to reinstate him.''I don't think Fisher wants Jones back -- as great a talent as Jones is, the Titans' defense is playing great without him, and adding Jones to the roster now would just be a distraction. If Jones is reinstated in 2008 (which is a big "if") look for the Titans to try to trade him, and if they can't get anything, just release him.

The line is playing great, but the secondary is giving up some big passing plays and that's why TB beat us and why Texans were even close to being in that game.
I do have to say I'm glad that PM is back in the news so you'll have a reason to blog about the Titans again. Welcome back!
