Whether your team won or lost today, the best news of the day in the NFL, by a large margin, is this: Kevin Everett is doing better. Everett, the Bills tight end who suffered a life-threatening injury during the first game of the season, made a statement, from his home in Houston, that was broadcast on the Jumbotron in Buffalo just before kickoff of tonight's game. He thanked the fans and his teammates for their support and said that his condition is continuing to improve.
Although the spinal cord injury Everett suffered means that his NFL career is over, he is going through extensive rehabilitation and is expected to make a complete recovery.

This is such a great story that he's going to make the full recovery and was able to try and motivate his team. Unfortunately he had to do it against the Patriots.

3. Since I watched him get this injury I have been so worried about him. It's good to know that, even though he will never play football again, that he is getting better. I pray that he makes a full recovery and I'll bet that he won't care too much that he's never playing football as long as he can walk.

5. I went to Jr. College at Kilgore College with Kevin. He was awesome then because he never gave up! I saw him drag 3 defenders into the endzone from the 15 in a game once. His recovery has a lot to do with that same spirit! I'm proud of him and all I can say is as a football fan and a friend, way to go boy!!! God is good!
