Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens, I'd like you to meet New York Jets rookie cornerback Darrelle Revis. He's the guy with the nice vertical to the right, and you'll be seeing a lot of him tomorrow, when the Cowboys play the Jets. When asked about Revis, Owens had this to say:"Who? I don't know who that it is," Owens said. "Once I step on the field it doesn't matter who's out there. I don't pay attention to numbers or names. I go out there and I focus on what I'm supposed to do. That's not a slight on him, or whoever he is. I just go out there and play football."
That's a pretty good put-down, even if Owens pretends he didn't intend it as a slight. For his part, Revis says he knows who Owens is:
"He's playing great, they move him around a lot, the slot, outside, and they look for him to make plays," Revis said. "You never know with T.O. He can get loose in coverage and I think some teams lose track of where he's at. That's the one thing we need to focus on, where he's at, at all times."One Cowboy who does know who Revis is: Coach Wade Phillips, who says the Cowboys had a high grade on Revis in this year's draft.

Not much hope of it happening but I sure would like to see Revis take T.O. out and put him on the bench for about 12 months. What a loud mouth idiot he is, have not gone to a Dallas game since he joined the team and don't intend to. I dislike dirt and that is just what TO is.

His talent speaks loud, of that there is no doubt, but his mouth speaks even louder. It's hard not to know who he is when he never is quiet.

Also, I have been watching T.O. since he came to the Cowboys and he is NOT the same guy that bashed his previous two quaterbacks. After Tony's botched snap at Seattle, it was T.O. that called and text messaged him to encourage him (true story!!)! I was weary of T.O. too...but there's just nothing there to complain about now!
I am a Dallas native and trust me, if there was a bad story to write, the Dallas media would...but there isn't one!! He hasn't been a cancer to this team...how can he be, they're 10-1 and he has 13 touchdowns (second only to Randy Moss)!!
The hypocrisy is this: when he talks bad about someone you hate him, when he talks good about someone you still hate him...you can't really have it both ways!! No matter what he does or says, there's someone that has something negative to say (even when there is nothing negative there). So the question is: where have YOU been? Go read the Dallas Morning News...they have stories about him on their blog!!
P.S. I'll get myself a dictionary, if you learn how to type. Until then...

My only point is that this Revis kid has played 10 games in his TOTAL CAREER. T.O. has more touchdowns this season than that!!! Even if T.O. does know him, he doesn't deserve the same respect of someone like Champ Bailey, where T.O. would actually talk about his skill. I know you know about teams giving their OWN rookies a hard time...why would this be any different.
Also, the hypocrisy comment wasn't JUST about you, but also the other people on this blog who say that he is talked about too much, but continue to talk about him. It's like digging into wound and saying it hurts...of course it does...if you continue to talk about T.O., he will continue to be talked about!!
Back to the topic, T.O. said "I don't know him."...that's it, not that he sucks or that he is overrated or that he is the worst player ever. You should have heard what Strahan said about Tony Romo. Kitna last week said the Giants were a worse team than the Lions...that's dumb!! Some players even go as far as calling other players the F word or get into yelling matches and fist fights and doing drugs. (K. Winslow-J. Porter, PacMan Jones, Travis Henry, etc.)
I believe he has improved...he is still T.O...his problems were never about him and the OTHER team...but him and HIS team!!! He can talk all the smack he wants on another team's player-everyone else does. The problem is if he were to call out his teammates...and he hasn't yet!!! That's my belief about his attitude and that's where my argument is coming from.
I respect your opinion about him, he was a complete idiot back in the day. But, I believe that he is better on and off the field now. He hasn't had meltdowns on the sideline or in the media room and his teammates love and laugh with him. I am no hypocrite, only a realist. If he were to revert back to his bad attitude, I would revert back to my previous (negative) opinion of him.
P.S. I am not happy with winning at all costs, this is the very reason why I despise the Patriots. If the Cowboys ever cheated, I would not support such a thing!!!
