With a nod to the classic "Choose Your Own Adventure" series, NBA FanHouse brings you inside Stephon Marbury's shaved head. Make the right decision, and you're a hero. Make the wrong play, and things get ugly. Choose wisely!
The month is November. The setting is Madison Square Garden. You are Starbury, the world's greatest point guard.* You have been benched by your coach, Isiah Thomas, who could be fired any day now.
This is appalling. Michael Jordan didn't come off the bench. There's no scenario under which Stephon Marbury should sit behind a scrub like Mardy Collins.
What do you choose to do?
Click here to stay with the Knicks. Maybe you can be New York's hero again.
... or ...
Click here to negotiate a buyout agreement. You can free yourself from the shackles of MSG management. The team is a disaster; best to extract your paycheck and bounce.
... or ...
Click here to go AWOL again. You left before, and got Isiah a lot of bad press. Maybe the powers-that-be will force Isiah out if you do it again.
* Not really.

1. don,t know much about mr. marbury but i think his shoes are great and esp. with the price i will now watch him as often as i can. showa a lot of class keeping the price under 20 bucks and they are really comfortable

2. I think the Management, coach and player should just shut the hell up and come up with ways to win some basketball games. New York is too much of a great place to have a sorry team like the Knicks with all these problems. They should learn from the Mavs. GO MAVS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!

3. Dolan is the problem. The Rangers are doing well in spite of his place at the helm. The Knicks are the product of his arrogance. Dolan sucks, and if his Dad wasn't the one that gave him a silver spoon, his most memorable line would be "Do you want to supersize that?"
Dolan and Thomas NEED to go....

4. Thomas ran the Pacers into the ground and he is doing the same to the Knicks...He is the problem and needs to go

5. Coach is the BOSS...NOT the player!

6. Send Marbury packing! While I'm not even a big fan of I.T., the coach stays. Doesn't seem like anyone else has the same problems at Marbury. He's a huge distraction to the team. Unfortunately, this is just one example of what's become of the "modern B-Ball player" and many athletes in general. Spoiled, can't do any wrong, and are drafted way before they have matured. This is just the kind of fall-out opponents of the early draft have warned of.

7. Okay, so I'm a Knick fan, which means I'm not happy about my team playing poorly. Lemme ask you this: what can I do about it? I can scream for someone's head all I please, but what will I accomplish?
My philosophy is simple--let the franchise do what it must. If Dolan packs it in and takes his posse with him, so be it. If he insists on sticking around and making more dumb mistakes, he'll get plenty of flak without my two cents. Either way, I sleep like a baby.

8. Marbury is not even a top 5 point guard in the NBA. He played with one of the best players ever at Minnesota with Kevin Garnett and couldn't get it done. I don't understand why there is so much hype over a 6'3 point guard who is never in the thick of things come playoff time. He's a good player. Nothing more nothing less. They're all overpaid anyway. The guy that picks up my garbage everyday for 10.00hr.works as hard as a millionare basketball player.

9. This is nothing more than two big egos butting heads. Normally I would side with the coach in these situations but in this case Thomas has lready showed that he has no integrity and can no longer manage a team. I think the Knicks organization should be demolished and rebuilt because it is obvious that with its current structure no coach or player can succeed.

Yeah--they should learn from a team that won 67 games last season and locked up homecourt advantage in the playoffs, only to get smacked out by Golden State. Brilliant.

11. Class and Sportsmanship start from the top down, just ask Mr. Robert Kraft hows it's done. Mr John Henry has done it, and perhaps the owners of the Celtics and Bruins will follow suit. Fans in cities across America need to demand it. Paying hefty pices for mediocrity and then complaining about it is just down right dumb. Revolt! stop paying for it... ya fkn fools

12. Marbury is not the problem. Trust me the problem lies with two people Zak Randolf and Coach Thomas. Get rid of those two and they will be back in good form

13. Marbury is another example of a young man with exceptional athletic talent and NO CHARACTER!! When put together with a coach with the same qualities, the result is Dissaster!!

14. I have a feeling that Marbury is not happy with Randolf. You need about 3 balls on the court when Randolf is in the game. He loves to shoot doesn't he? I know I'm from Portland and was so happy to see him leave. Now he is your problem NY. I do believe that he is the problem with Marbury along with Thomas.

16. As an ex-player, I always blame the players more than the coaches. They provide instructions but can't go onto the court and play the game for you. Its about execution, motivation, enthusiasm and energy. Too often people want to blame the coach. If the team wins, the player(s) receives credit. The coach can't go out and score pts, grab rebounds, distribute assists, block shots, create steals and second chance opportunities to score, control offensive and defensive boards and make free throws. The players have large monetary contracts, and are not fulfilling the expectations of their positions. I say hold them accountable. If they are not producing, get rid of them!

19. Marbury is not unlike a number of "spoiled" NBA,NFL,
MLB stars who come to the conclusion that they are
larger than the sport itself. Seldom, if ever, do
they change for the better.
