Family, Friends, and Teammates Talk About Sean Taylor's Life

After being shot in a home invasion early Monday morning, Redskins safety Sean Taylor is dead.

From the AP Report:
"His father called and said he was with Christ and he cried and thanked me," said [Richard] Sharpstein, Taylor's former lawyer. "It's a tremendously sad and unnecessary event. He was a wonderful, humble, talented young man, and had a huge life in front of him. Obviously God had other plans."
There seemed to be some encouraging signs yesterday after Taylor squeezed a nurse's hand, but the good news was short-lived. Taylor didn't make it through the night.

A daughter is left without a father, and a family is broken up. Redskins receiver James Thrash attempts to give the world a glimpse of what it will now be without.
"From the first day I met him, from then to now, it's just like night and day. He's really got his head on his shoulders and has been doing really well as far as just being a man. It's been awesome to see that growth."
Quotes like that make Taylor's death even harder to fathom. It's such a shame. Such a tragedy. So senseless.
