If you don't have NFL Network, you missed the Dallas Cowboys beat the Green Bay Packers, making Dallas the prohibitive favorite to earn home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.
You missed Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens having a tremendous game -- when he wasn't having the ball taken away from him by Packers cornerback Al Harris.
You missed Packers quarterback Brett Favre do something he almost never does -- leave a game with an injury.
You missed Favre's replacement, Aaron Rodgers, show why he was worthy of a first-round draft pick.
You missed a good game.

This game lived up to the hype. It was just as good as their battles in the 1960s when the Super Bowl berth was at stake.

Why Not Just Say They Stole The Game !!!
You Back Seat Refs make me sick, trying to call the game to fit your own needs. Is all you Blog Writers want to do is try to discolor Dallas' Victory? Or maybe you just need controversy in your writing.
If you even actually watched the game, which I truely doubt, I could understand some judgements, --- so you just did not see the Actually Penalties --- so apparently you did not "See the Game".
AOL is full of Cowboy haters adn very view even write Balanced articles about 'Da Boys.
Go CowBoys

The NFL should be ashamed of itself putting that game on the PAY ONLY NFL sucky Channel. THEY SUCK. Dallas is a Premier Team that EVERYONE should be able to watch play. Not just the ELITE or suckers being sucked into a subscription service. WHATS next NFL PAY PER VIEW GAMES ENTIRELY. Sorry for Brett Favre, he is truely a Great QB, but Way to go ROMO and GO COWBOYS!

The AOL poll says that 51% won't remember anything about this game because they don't get the NFL channel. This is probably good but it would be better if this 50% boycotted the NFL for as long as it take for Miami to win another Super Bowl.
For some reason I don't think the NFL likes the Fans as much as they like money. Who would have guessed?

Since when does having access to NFL Network make you ELITE?
Personally, I prefer cable because I prefer not to have a DISH attached to side of my home. Just changing channels from one game to another is a pain in the butt; after waiting for all that mumbo jumbo to clear off the screen you miss everything. The NFL sucks for putting that game only on NFL Network.
The NFL and FOX also suck for constantly televising NFC East and North games on the West coast. I want to watch Rams vs Seahawks or Niners vs Rams in the LA area and what do we get? The Eagles, Saints, Vikings, Packers, Saints and Cowboys. Who cares!!?

Or, you could've watched the full broadcast of the game at nfl.com. But no reason to let facts get in the way.

Could we have just seen the beginning of the end of football on tv as we know it.Now that they have found a way to make us pay extra to see certain games I bet it woun't be long before all playoff and bowl games are extra charge as well.

This NFL Network game was a damn disservice to loyal NFL fans everywhere. Supposedly the NFC Game of The Year, we all get shanghaied into paying a monthly fee for a channel that is basically worthless outside this one game. On top of that, most cable subsribers didn't have an opportunity to watch the game on a pay-per-view basis. It pure and simply stinks, and disgraceful to NFL fans.

If you think about it, it is no different than a game not being on a Sunday in your area. However, it was an important game and it should have been on, other than a pay channel. It would be like the New England Patriots going for 17 - 0 and it not being on. The NFL Network and the NFL dropped the ball on this one, but doesn't care. Next week it will all be forgotten anyway.

I was shocked to find out it was not being televised for all fans to see. Pay? You greedy Bas---ds. I think we need to boycott the NFL or whoever was responsible for the NFL Network to carry the game. What goes around comes around.

I'm trying to figure out how this is a pay channel. I get it and don't pay extra for it! My husband LOVES the Denver Broncos. Because we live on the east coast and can only get Eagles, Ravens and sometimes Redskins we subscribe to the Sunday Ticket just so he can see the Broncos play. It's the way it is plain and simple...my opinion is only worry about things you can control.

I have an 86 yr. old neighbor who was very depressed because of the selfishness of NFL!! This man is legally blind, His wife passed away 2 yrs. ago this Feb. of cancer. Her birthday was Wed.!
He is an avid fan of the NFL teams. He kept saying, "why would they do such a thing to everyone?"
My response was, "look at what a jerk Jerry Jones is, how he treated Tom Landry!" NFL & Cowboys' lost the respect of the people. You probably have lost an avid football fan. YOu may have won the game, but you lost our respect!
