Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Puts on a Show

Packers quarterback Brett Favre is out with an apparent elbow injury, but never fear, Packers fans: Your team is just fine without Favre.

Backup Aaron Rodgers, the 2005 first-round draft pick who has never had an opportunity to showcase his considerable talents, has replaced Favre in the lineup, and he's having a spectacular outing. When he was first thrown in there he struggled, but as soon as he got his bearings he began to take over the game.

After completing just one of his first four passes, for three yards, Rodgers' numbers are currently 11-of-14 for 130 yards and a touchdown, with no interceptions. He has also had an eight-yard run and a nine-yard run, both of which picked up first downs.

With Rodgers running the show, the Packers have scored 14 unanswered points to pull the game to 27-24 in the third quarter.
