Early in the Redskins-Bears game, Redskins defensive tackle Cornelius Griffin ran into Rex Grossman's knee ... knocking him out of the game. Brian Griese has taken over at QB for the Chicago Bears.
The hit was legal, in a sense: Griffin had his legs taken out from under him by a blocker. However, the hit caused Grossman's knee to bend in a way that knees normally don't bend.
Rex Grossman, who is in a contract year, was able to walk off the field on his own power ... though noticeably limping. He had completed just two of his first six passes before leaving.
"Wrecks" Grossman has had a history of leg injuries. He tore knee ligaments in 2004 then broke his ankle in 2005.

I almost don't care. This guy is terrible, he thinks he helps the Bears when in fact he truly hurts our offense.
Be gone Rex!!

actually, grossman has improved. and griese sucks. well its over and we are now 5-8. by now we can all see that no one can coach on this team or evaluate talent..so we should sack angelo, smith and turner. No where to get players right now so having said that I would begin to get ready for next year...and to do that you need to see if your young guys can play...id play orton, wolfe, and any young guys they are unsure of right now till the rest of the year to see what you have.

This Bears team, if you can call it a team, is the worst team that we have put on the field since the 70's. All the way from the coaching to the kicking team, except for Hester, has been a big let down every second of every game. WE SUCK Time for a house cleaning, I see half assed tackles, blocks and effort from every aspect of this team. Which leaves me to believe that coaching is suspect. If you agree write about it lets get them McCaskey's to field a team that wants to win, not just collect a check!
