The campaign to make Timberwolf Antoine Walker an All-Star starter has been a boisterous effort; all involved should be proud, and the organizers are to be commended. Honestly, the All-Star voting system is so ridiculous (and unfixable) -- with an injured Gilbert Arenas vowing to get elected even though he won't be able to play, with Yi Jianlian being withheld from the ballot so China can't push him through to the starting lineup, with precisely average players carping about ballot snubs -- that electing Toine makes a ton of sense. Well, makes sense to everyone but... Toine. ESPN.com's Marc Stein asked Walker about the proceedings.
