ESPN.com's David Amber deserves some kind of medal for the series of NHL interviews he's been conducting over the past season or so. You'll remember that it was Amber who convinced Willa Ford -- now also known as Mrs. Mike Modano -- to spill her feelings on seeing her future husband dumped as team captain in Dallas.Well, now Amber is at it again, this time getting St. Louis winger Brad Boyes to open up about what Hollywood starlets he'd like to get to know better. For Boyes, who has potted a surprising 17 goals for the Blues this season, the conversation begins and ends with superstar model/actress Elizabeth Hurley:
I was a fan of the girl from Austin Powers. Elizabeth Hurley. I love her accent. She's a little older, but I'm a big fan. Every movie she's in, I just have to see, even "Bedazzled." That was the worst movie I have ever seen, but the only reason I didn't walk out was [because of] that devil outfit she was wearing [laughs].A little older? That's a bit of an understatement, as any kind of relationship between Boyes and Hurley -- Boyes is 17 years younger than Hurley -- might as well look like a remake of The Graduate. Boyes could step in for Dustin Hoffman and Hurley could easily slide into the Anne Bancroft role.
Then again, there's just one more problem: Hurley seems to be happily married to software millionaire Arun Nayar.
Bummer for Brad, eh?
