Normally, I'd be a little bent about Fox giving an athlete's girlfriend so much camera time (write that down during Spurs games, ABC/ESPN) ... but Jessica Simpson was by far the best looking thing in Texas Stadium. It was pretty ugly out there as the Eagles eeked out a 10-6 win over the Cowboys.
Simpson's boyfriend ... Tony Romo ... completed just 13 of 36 passes for 214 yds, no TDs and three INTs. Some of that came after he injured his right thumb in the 3rd quarter, but he stunk up the joint before that. This was the first game in three years that Dallas failed to score a touchdown - that's during a season where the Boys may set a franchise record for scoring.
The loss is huge for Dallas. It drops them to 12-2 and into a tie with the Green Bay Packers atop the NFC. The Cowboys still own the tiebreaker, but will have to probably win out to keep it. With a win today, they only needed one win in the last two weeks to clinch home field advantage in the playoffs.
Donovan McNabb looked okay but celebrated nicely:
McNabb was 23-of-41 for 208 yards and a touchdown, which he celebrated with the kind of spread-armed, arched-back gesture Terrell Owens used when he played for the Eagles. He also ran nine times for a season-high 53 yards, including a season-best 28-yarder.
This was a huge win for Philly as it keeps alive their fading playoff hopes. The sit at 6-8 and among the Lions, Cardinals and Panthers (and maybe the Redskins and Bears) with the same record. All are currently 1 1/2 back of the Vikings, who play on Monday night.

I think that jessica shouldn't have been there bc thats one of the reason's why Romo didnt do well and the other reason his thumb was messed up. Hopefully the cowboys can pull it off this sunday. I hope tony puts his head back in the game next sunday instead of on jessica. I'm still a fan of him and the cowboys but i seriously dont think that his head was in the game yesterday.

Question: Why are all these Patriot fans commenting on an article about the Eagles and Cowboys? It doesn't even concern them. Sure looks like they are worried about the prospect of playing the 'Boys in the Super Bowl. Just shows their no-class attitude.
So Dallas was beaten by Philly. So what? Philly almost beat the Pats...and the hapless Ravens literally gave one game to them as well. In any Dallas/Philly game, anything can happen, as is typical with rivalry games.
At 12-2, Dallas certainly doesn't SUCK for losing their second game all year to their bitter rivals. Even if Dallas would finish the season 12-4 and lose their first playoff game, they still wouldn't SUCK as a team. In fact, they would still be considered a GOOD team...just not good enough to go to and win the super bowl. A team doesn't have to be undefeated or win the Super Bowl to be considered a good team.
Pat fans (I know you're reading this), try to have some class. The world knows that the 2007 Pats are the greates team in the history of the NFL. Even if they lost their next 2 games and lost in the playoffs, I'd still say that they were the best team I've ever seen play football. You don't have to mock the fans of all other football teams just because their team isn't having such an insanely awesome year as yours is. Try giving some credit where its due.
Most of the nation hates New England because of their fans (and coach). That is why they will NEVER be considered America's Team. Dallas was given the name America's Team back in the 70's because it was the most popular team in the country, based on merchandise sales, ticket sales, and the large number of fans in cities other than Dallas. Well, Dallas REMAINS America's Team because of the same reasons - it outsells all other teams in merchandise and has more fans than any other team (Ever wonder why TV stations always show Dallas games? Its because they get the highest ratings for those games.). It has nothing to do with wins and losses...only popularity. Unfortunately for the Patriot organization, New England will never be as popular as Dallas, as long as their fans continue to ruin it for them.

I am a Pats fan, this kid Romo is playing at a very high level. If Dallas continues to have a good O- line and Romo keeps improving, he and his team will be the ones to watch in the future. I hope GB gets to the SB as the Pats have not beat this team this year.

Dallas is America's Team the same way American Idol is America's Show. Only fools watch, but sadly there are quite a few fools in America.

Bring it on primrod. I will enjoy watching your defense fold against our receivers. Sure you may score a lot of points, but so can we. Other than the Colts, GB is the only team in my opinion that has the fire power to stay with you guys. The pats are soft playing the middle. We just happen to be the best at that. To be perfectly honest, if we take Moss out, then we win the game. I may sound crazy for saying this, but he is the only reason you are having this year. In the games that were close, he wasn't a factor because they took him out. We have the cornerbacks to do it.

angryguy77 you are crazy, crazy like a fox.
Yes, games are close when teams play tight coverage off the line and down field. Not letting Moss run free Should be a priority. I can't dismiss Randy's importance to their acomplishments this year, but to say that he's the only reason for their success is moronic. This year the Pats have the best QB,WR slot receiver, and (I know your gonna love this one) coach. The defence is very good too. The most important thing in my opinion (mental toughness), no other team has shown more heart then this Pats team this year. Pats beat GB, and the circle is complete. I know a lot of teams will have something to say about who goes to the SB. Especially The Colts and the Cowboys, they can very well end up in the big game.

Yeah, I just can't believe that a back like Barber was only given 7 carries (and averaging 4.57 ypc). And, especially since Romo was getting so much pressure. Also, I was wondering why they always put J. Jones as the starter. Perhaps they have their reasons, but it seems that Jones would have a better chance in the later quarters when the defense has been softened up and slowed down a little. Then he would be the faster stronger back. For in the first quarter, he will go down with an arm tackle and run over by blitzers. In any case, Barber should get the ball on 1st and/or 2nd down (Barber falls down 3 yards for god's sake). Romo may not even have to throw. Dallas has a very strong team, where if one aspect doesn't work (like passing in this game), the others can help out (like the defense in this game and the running would have). The ENTIRE Dallas team is responsible for their success, not just one man (as we have seen). Get it together boys', you guys have a very, very good chance of winning the Super Bowl (especially by wearing down those older linebackers of the Pats., playing ball control, and putting pressure on the statue Brady. If they/you make it of course). Objectively, it is very, very do-able. So stop putting your players in harm's way and start ending these last remaining games in the 1st and 2nd quarters.
