Patriots-Jets Game Suspended Because Fans Were Throwing Snowballs
The Patriots-Jets game was temporarily suspended because a fan threw a snowball onto the field and hit official Garth DeFelice in the face.
From what Jim Nantz was saying during the telecast, fans were throwing snowballs at the Jets sidelines as well. This soooo seems like a childish thing all the way around. Grown folks throwing snowballs? Then referee Jerome Boger has to essentially say "we aren't going to show you any more football until you calm down".

1. What do you expect from the fans of such a classless team? This is the same organization that is coached by trailer park trash, runs up the score on lesser teams, and was caught cheating early in the season. You reap what you sow.

2. I was at the game yesterday and saw ground staff looking right at the immature fans who were throwing the snowballs. There were even some stupid people aiming at the cheerleaders. Perhaps if they had taken some swift definitive action and thrown the offenders out of the game, the suspension would not have been necessary. Let's not categorize all the fans as "classless". Most of us were just there to enjoy another Patriots win!!!!

4. Should have thrown the fan's that were throwing the snow balls out of the game and if they hit someone on the field and carried a season pass it should have been taken from them. The cost of seeing a football game isn't child's play it's grown up's play and well we all know what to do with children who don't listen.

5. Why didn't they eject these bastards from the game? Poor sportsmanship applies to the fans as well as the teams and they could have been charged with assault.

6. JUST BECAUSE SOME FANS ARE IDIOTS. DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON ALL THE FANS, IF U SEE WHO WAS THROWING SNOWBALLS THROW THEM OUT AND PLAY BALL, AND THE PERSON WHO CALLS THE COACHES TRIALER TRASH GET A LIVE

7. Why is anyone surprised? Look who was playing (Patriots) and where they were playing (Foxboro). The Patriots, their coach and their fans are the most classless act in all of sports. End of story.

8. Lets hope miami kicks their buts and the fans treat new england players with a shower of oranges.

9. To those that hate the Patriots because of their dominance of the game I have but one word: JEALOUSY. As for the fans throwing snowballs, yes they were immature but things like that go on all over the league. It is common knowledge that at Jets games, the men stand looking over the concrete barriers and chant for the women to show their breasts. The Philly fans are just cruel and nasty and it goes on and on. At least no-one went streaking. There are idiots everywhere and unfortunately stupidity does not have a cure yet.
The Pats will roll to the 4th Superbowl championship in this decade. They are the top of the food chain. Deal with it. "Those that can, do. Those that can't, gripe about it and say it's unfair."

10. Miami needs to help the 1972 dolphins with a win. Don Shula needs to be on the sidelines.

11. Yes we should all be jealous because the Pats purchase their Super Bowl Wins. I would prefer the Miami fans shower them with bullets.

12. with domination, there is jelousy. we in New England understand what you must be going through because we were there once. as long as the Pats keep winning, I guess we will have to deal with the crying.
GO ALL THE WAY PATROITS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13. Jason...you are apparently a patriots hater...you should learn to keeep your comments to yourself if all you are going to have is something negative to say......There is no such thing as running up the score...Offense is suppose to play offense until all 4 quarters and defense is suppose to play defense...If the defense can't stop them, it should not be the offense's fault....Look at what the Chargers did yesterday....would you call that running up the score too against the LIons?? huh..
Pats all the way..

17. Calling a whole team's fan base classless makes one a moron. I hope those people at the game that threw those snowballs get every punishment they deserve. I am a pats fan. I can speak for most of us, and every pats fan I know thinks the throwers are idiots. Painting with a broad brush might make you feel better, but it's not the truth. Grow up.

18. Want to know what really kills me? All these Patriots haters who post on Patriots Fanhouse Blogs about how "classless" the Patriots and their fans are. Hello kettle, meet pot...

19. khalilsmom12 - if you want to be a role model or TELL others to, then try to refrain from cursing on public sites as my children and thousands of others read them. Thanks and STAY IN NEW YORK.

20. wow tossing snowballs !!! its the end of civilization !!! I admit its childish its stupid.. classless is a bit to far.. i can remember many a new york back page showing the same thing... be happy jets fans and Pats haters.. if it wasnt for the snow the score would have been 56 to 7.. take your snowball to the back of the helmut tuck your tail between your legs and go back to the swamps where you belong
