The Tennessee Titans' playoff hopes may have just gotten a huge boost.Backup quarterback Jim Sorgi is expected to see extensive playing time for the Colts (13-2), who already are entrenched as the second seed and have a first-round bye in the AFC Playoffs.
"I know Jim Sorgi's going to play at least a half," Colts coach Tony Dungy told reporters Monday.
Peyton Manning is expected to start, but since the Colts are locked into the #2 seed in the AFC playoffs and are just playing out the season, Manning won't finish. He might be in there long enough to re-establish a rhythm with Marvin Harrison, but after that, it's yet another second-half Sorgi orgy for the Colts in late December.
You could almost hear the Dawg Pound grumbling once this announcement went public. Browns fans are Colts fans this Sunday, but the Colts couldn't care less about who gets that last Wild Card spot. They have to worry about their own playoff preparations first. Don't blame Dungy for this, Browns fans. Blame your Browns for not getting it done last Sunday in Cincinnati.

I thought this was professional football and that the bottom line was to win the game. Dungy is a fraud and another pawn for the NFL to screw the city of Cleveland. The Cleveland fans outta protest the last game to show the NFL we are tired of getting shafted. Dungy is full of crap.

Ok, how is this the Colt's fault? You Browns fans are a bunch of cry babies if you are going to put the Colts at fault for your sorry city not reaching the playoffs. If the browns would have taken care of business last week against Cinci we wouldn't be having this discussion. Sure...go ahead and boycott the last game of the season...you didn't bother to show up in week 15 either. Losers.

Hey Leo Martin
Sure wish the Colts could have a division like the Pats. I wonder if the Pats can even get by the 2nd place team in the AFC South - Jacksonville.
Go COLTS!

i don't think that anyone but cleveland fans realize what this playoff spot means to us...yes,it does seem like whenever things are going our way they always get messed up...but if the browns win on sunday they finish 10-6 tell me how is it fair if they don't make it with that record.makes me sick.also would think that colts players and coaches want to win this game...that's what every athlete wants to do is win.a loss at the end of the season even if you are going to the playoffs should kind of leave a bitter taste in your mouth!also cleveland is not a sorry city...the cavs made the finals, the indians almost made the world series and the browns shocked everybody.also the colts aren't going to make the super bowl this year and despite peyton manning who probably spends every minute of the off-season making commercials they will never be as good as the patriots.just a fact!also don't think that the colts fans have anything to say...they are so used to their team always winning and making the playoffs they have no idea what a losing season is like...all i have to say is go cleveland and go colts.and everyone else can shut the hell up!

I am not a Browns fan but am pulling for them to make the playoffs, and more. It would be great to see them back. However, by their position that they earned, the Colts certainly are justified to do whatever they please. Some Brown fans might not be happy now but what would Colt fans say if Peyton got hurt in the 4th quarter this Sunday. My good friend who is a die hard Browns fan agrees that the Colts are right in their decision not to play Peyton. My Bears are gone. Go Colts and Go Browns.

The best team in the NFL, in December 2007 (& also in January 2008), resides in Duval County, North Florida.
When NE struggled in the rain against the Jets, if the Jets had been replaced with J'ville, Jags would have won by 2 TD's easy--Colts proved for 50 minutes in November, that a strong running game can neutralize Brady & Co., and there isn't a better NFL running tandem right now than Taylor & Jones-Drew (as well as the best run-block offensive line).

Tom Twigg - Time will tell, only time will tell. I believe the Jags could beat the Patriots, As a colts fan, I would rather play the Pats in playoffs then the Jags. I believe the Jags will be the toughest opponent.
