We're just moments away from the kickoff of Patriots-Giants, the most meaningful meaningless game in NFL history. And since we're so close, there probably isn't time for Patriots coach Bill Belichick to put anything new on the bulletin board.
But if there were time, he'd probably try this: ESPN reported this evening that Colts quarterback Peyton Manning called his brother, Giants quarterback Eli Manning, to give him the simple message that the Patriots are beatable.
Of course, that's not exactly a shocking comment. What's Peyton supposed to say? "Hey, Eli, just so you know, you have no chance"? But it is a comment that you can bet Belichick will mention to his players in three weeks, assuming the seemingly inevitable Patriots-Colts AFC Championship game does, in fact, take place.

1. If the Pats need what Peyton Manning said to his brother as motivation, then the Patriots aren't as great of a team as I think they are. The Colts are bui;t for the inside, I give them a very low chance of walking into Foxsboro, playing in cold weather and beating them there.Has Peyton ever performed well in the cold? The Patriots know this and that is all they need.

2. Of course big brother would call him and talk to him. He is getting a bit gun shy in the 4th here but I pray that Eli does his brother proud. Because, I really do not like Boston or any team from that area celtics and some stupid baseball team that will go unmentioned!!!!!

1) Bradey 2) Peyton Manning 3) Big Ben 4) Favre
5) Drew Breeze 6) Mcnabb - when he is healthy
6) Vince Young - the kid wins 7) Garrard

7. Methinks Jim comes from the New York area. Yes, I'm a die-hard New England/ Boston fan, but I still give credit to the Whankees when they deserve it. Much like I give Eli credit for a game well played.
Suck it up.

9. I might put Carson Palmer on that list over Eli(although nobody has done less with more this year), and I'd DEFINITELY put Matt Hasslebeck on that list!

10. Pats had a great year, but are they the best...NO!
Steelers won 4 super bowls in 6 years, and Chuch Noll Has to be the most under rated coach ever. The team he put together with the draft is the best coaching job ever! In fact the 79 Steelers had only Noll coach players. plus N.E Pats were caught cheating they should have been fined that game and who knows what other games they cheated on.

11. Sallee....
Get over the cheating thing, or did you not hear the Jets were actually caught cheating first, but gee...they weren't fined...maybe because they lose all the time. And as for the 70's "Steel Curtain" I admire them but each and every one of them admitted to steroids which is much more performance enhancing than a stupid video that is useless if the coaches are smart and change their plays.

teams from Boston. You ought to get a life. You are

making cookies you crumb.
