Classy as always, Texas Tech coach Bobby Knight, after recording the 899th win of his coaching career, brought his 21-month-old grandson to the post-game press conference. Here's the video:
Knight started things by saying of his grandson, "I'm bringing him up to really get along with the media." And then when a reporter asked Knight whether the game would give his team momentum, Knight responded, "Who knows? I don't know any of that stuff. You guys read fairy tales on all that bullsh--."
It's good to see that Knight, who likes to talk about the way he builds character in the young men he coaches, is teaching his grandson at a young age to use profanity and show contempt for the media.

Bob Knight is trash, has always been and will always be. Build character when he has none? Give me a break. He should have been kicked out of basketball years ago for his ugliness. This will be what he is remembered for, not any ability his players might have had.

I would not ever let that man (Knight) teach one of my Children, He is a disgrace to the Basketball court and the College, He needs some anger managment classes for himself, Get Rid of him like Indiana did , enough is enough

Coach Knight has helped so many athletes, way more then his number of wins. He's a tough man to play for, many cannot, but those who do learn more then basketball, they learn life lessons that make them better people

The man sells tickets. The places he has coached for should be ashamed that he was their coach. He is a loser as a coach and no doubt a loser as a grandfather. He is simply a mental midget.

Well, I don't really agree with some of his tactics but you have to admit the man is a successful coach. Not sure if that's the way i would have done it but it works for him

oooooo - he said the "BS" word. So all you self-righteous hypocrites can get on your soap-boxes and make yourselves feel better. If sports wasn't elevated to the god-like status that it is, if winning wasn't the most important thing, then you could have all the 'poor sports' removed for saying naughty things and throwing chairs. But that is not the case because you same people continue to label 'ignorant' anyone who doesn't win like you want. So live with it!

This is who he has been and always be and to call this guy a loser is a joke. by the time he leaves BBall he will have the most wins, The only perfect season anybody can remember(1976), 3 NCAA titles and an Olympic Gold medal he' ll never have to relinquish because of steriods.
