The Florida radio station 580 WDBO is reporting that a woman has filed for an order of protection against Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss after, she claims, he committed battery on her. From the radio station's report:Moss has been hit with a temporary injunction for protection against dating violence. It's still not clear why the radio station initially pulled its report, but the station is now standing by it, and it's a potential distraction for Moss and the Patriots as they prepare for the AFC Championship.
According to the affidavit Moss committed a battery upon the victim causing serious injury and then refused to allow her to seek medical attention.
The affidavit out of Broward County reveals Moss cannot come within 500 hundred feet of the victim and cannot use or possess firearms.

Randy Moss is married with four kids. I wonder how he ended up in Florida in the week he was practicing for his playoff games. Look at the bogus report. It couldnt be more vague. You could get this info off of Wikipedia.. Even the registration for his car says "MASS or W.Virginia". Let's see. He lives in MA, and is from W Virginia. Oh very convenient. This is bullshit and cant believe you'd print this now.

The restraining order isnt fake, but the claims sure are. I knew a girl once who took a restraining order out on a different guy once a week. She was nuts. Look at the court paper on the link in the above comment. There is nothing more than his name and middle initial. Seeing the NY Post planted a fake Jessica in the crowd, I can see how some bimbo could be coerced into doing this. Again, much ado about nothing. If she were dating Randy, dont you think she'd know his address and/or state of registration of his car...and what is his car doing in Florida when he lives in MA. If he's cheating on his wife, don't you think he'd have flown down to Florida and rent a car? Just asking.

Just another scam to put down the Patriots. How the hell did he have time to do something like that when he was all tied up with the Patriots? Belive me, he didnt. Hey Moss just use that crap to work in your favor. Hall in 4 td passes and show them all.

I am no lawyer, but it's well known that probably the easist thing to obtain from a court is a temporary restraining order. If it is simply a grab for money as Randy states, it will fail. If it is an attempt to cause Randy difficulty on the field in the Championship game, it will have worst results. Randy will take it out on the Bolts with his accomplice, Tom Brady. Look for three or four TDs.

This is a temporary restraing order, which means someone accused Randy of doing something wrong and the court is waiting to hear from both sides before a restraining order will be issued.
Please read the following definition so you understand what is actually happening.

I could accuse President Bush of the same thing and pull a temp-restraint against him. The fact this was done on Monday, and the person filed it in Florida the logistics would make it false.
