Magic Johnson appeared in an ad for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign in which he argues the following:On the court and in life, successful leadership comes from hard work and experience. That's why I'm endorsing Hillary Clinton for President. ... My rookie year, we won our first game on a last second shot. I was so hyped. But the captain of my team said, "take it easy rookie, it's a long season, it's a long road to the championship." He was right. Winning comes from years of hard work and preparation.Newsday's John Riley notes it first, but any NBA fan worth the salt sees the problem immediately: Magic won his first championship as a rookie. He didn't need years of experience to be the best. Some folks, like Magic, just have it.
One step further: Magic's career might be a great example for Barack Obama's campaign: The right person can come in and make a difference immediately. Change can beget instant success; the learning curve is smaller for the best and the brightest. Magic cannot dispute that.

Barack should just align himself with whoever is the Kareem of politics...maybe even Bill Clinton.
Now...granted... it'd be hard to get Bill to abandon his wife and campaign for her biggest rival... but if you can cause that kind of fissure in the enemy campground, you should look into what it would take to bring Cigar Billy into the Obama camp.
Start sending the chubbies over, Barack... the fate of your country depends on it.

Obama should get Dan Mariano for an ad showing how years being the top really doesn't get you anywhere.

hahahahaah...That's a good one. This just illustrates the flawed reasoning of the entire Hillary Campaign.
They are grasping at straws. All her endorsers seem to be tripping over themselves with their lame reasoning.

When will the media learn that an athlete's endorsement means diddly?
Remember when all those NBA stars endorses Bradley? Gee, how'd that work out?

Magic has spent his whole life under control of white men .They told him when and what to eat, when to sleep, what and how to think and etc.You can listen to him on TNT as a commentator and you will realize he has no respect for fellow Blacks. He is a perfect example of the results of the plantation mentality.I hope someone can bless and make him aware of the achievements that Blacks have accomplished, are accomplishing and that Obama will accomplish in the near future Rodney

This is really becoming rather...
I believe if my recollection is correct, Magic won his first time playing for the NBA Championship with the LA Lakers.
Furthermore former president Wm. Jefferson Clinton did too, but for the Oval Office.
I hope voters will vote for the person most aligned with ones' beliefs on, among other points of change, our involvement in conflict in both the Middle East and Asia; our nation's failing economy; the need of national healthcare insurance coverage for all Americans; our nation's deficit; and the state of our nation's and the world's environmental conditions.
