You would think that Isiah Thomas has enough problems at the moment, without having to worry about his college-aged son being arrested. But that's exactly what happened to young Joshua Thomas, who was indeed arrested on an alcohol related misdemeanor charge on Friday.
Joshua Thomas, a student at Indiana University, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, illegal consumption of alcohol and being a minor in a tavern, according to the New York Daily News. He was released from the Monroe County Jail on $500 bail.
The News, citing a police source, said Thomas was arrested after he went to a Bloomington hospital to be treated for a swollen eye, which came when he was hit by either a beer bottle or another man's fist at the bar.
No word on whether a bar patron yelling out "Knicks suck!" started the altercation, but given all that's gone on with the team this season, I would say that it's fairly likely. But who knows, the Knicks have won five of their last seven, so maybe we'll just chalk this one up to being bored with college life in Indiana.

you all obviously don't know josh thomas. i am also at indiana, and happen to be good friends with josh, in fact we are in the same fraternity. he is a good kid, was going to check his work schedule at that bar because he DJ's there like twice a week, and some nut head hit him with a bottle for no reason. give him a break, he's in college!

he is only doing what many people have done and gotten caught for...........not to mention a lot of us who have done it but never gotten caught, why do we make a bigger deal out of it??? Because his dad is a celebrity............puhlease......it's not like he was fighting dogs, or raping someone, or killed someone while drinking and driving, or killed his spouse and her friend, or bit someone's ear off........it's not like he is michael vick's son, or leonard little's son, kobe bryant's son, or mike tyson's son, o.j. simpson's son, I cannot remember Coah Thomas getting into trouble............
