Before now, Chad Johnson was just whining like a child. Now he's acting like one. Someone get him some toys to play on the beach in Hawaii.
After blasting his organization -- the Cincinnati Bengals -- during an interview with the NFL Network, Ocho Cinco shoved a member of the NFL's media relations department:
Before leaving, Johnson was stopped by a member of the league's media relations department (Michael Lipman) for me and another reporter. I asked Johnson whether he was having a better off-season after venting some of his frustration publicly at the Super Bowl.
Johnson walked off without answering the question. Lipman tried speaking with him again, only to get shoved. The much-bigger Johnson then stared down Lipman before stepping onto a jitney headed toward the players' hotel.
This has gotten insane. Here is a man that has blasted the local media for not supporting him by running around to every non-Cincinnati based medium to bark his orders ... then shove the one of the league's media relations people. The reporter who wanted to talk to Chad was Alex Marvez, a senior writer for FoxSports.com.
That move alone could see Johnson facing some sort of punishment. Do you think the NFL likes seeing one of its stars pushing around league employees during its week of fun in Hawaii?
I'm just spitballing here, but I would not be surprised if Chad went as far as to wear a non-Bengals helmet (or at least try) during Saturday's Pro Bowl. He's had various fines for uniform violations this season and his hatred for the Bengals could be shown further with this move.
Sorry, No Photos

Johnson's behavior is definitely over the top. I just hope the Bengals don't cut him loose; if they do, I'd be afraid of the New England Patriots/Randy Moss scenario happening all over again.

Johnson was wrong but Lipman couldn't figure out that he didn't want to talk anymore after walking off. PR people can be pushy.

Just another thug. Mental midget, but look where he makes a living,NFL, National Felony league. Unfortunately people still pay their hardearned money to pack the stadiums. Fools. If the NFL had minor leagues like baseball, college would still be a place to learn, instead of so-called scholarships whereas the alleged student doesn't have to attend class. It's all about money.

I'll never understand why WRs are the most narcissistic people in sports. The wouldn't exists without QBs. They're the Robins to the QBs Batman.
You didn't see Robin carrying on the way Ocho Stinco does.

Chad's antics are usually harmless and I've always said he's good for the No Fun League. He's been put in a bad spot. If in fact Marvin Lewis hasn't really talked to him since mid-season, what is he supposed to be thinking? Lewis blamed everyone on the team, players and assistant coaches, for their losing season, while stealing money by gathering this bunch of ill-fitting parts. Chad, like T.O., IS one of the hardest workers on the team, both in practice and on gameday. Hmmmm...Ocho Cinco and the Original 81 catching passes from Romo for the next couple of years while Dallas grooms a couple of young WR's sounds good to me.
Oh, and "No means no". Turning down a "senior writer for foxsports.com" isn't exactly thumbing your nose at Peter King. Everybody with computer access and a forum has ripped this guy recently. It's no wonder that he wasn't ready for a one-on-one with some hack nobody's ever heard of...

Wouldn't it be great if they lifted all barriers on media junkies? That if the law would realize they bring on their own crap and reap their just rewards.
Then not only would they be pushed but they would be stomped right after it.
They then could hire their own bodyguards to protect them from their idiotic mannerisms.

Just another overpaid, spoiled, egotistical, punk of a player. The the book at him. Mr. Lipman should file assualt charges against him. Why some of you ask? Because this seems to be the only way to get through to meatheads like this.

I'm from cincy and I hope they ship him off. wide receivers are a dime a dozen and believe it or not some of them think more of the team then of themselves. unfortunately it's only some.

Chad is nothing more than a mouth with hands. It's not enough he gets paid what he does, he's wants his coach to kiss his behind despite their horrific season. For those of you who blame the coach, you certainly weren't saying bad things about him when he pulled the Bengals from the Ohio River and made them Central Division Champs. Wouldn't it be great if a shoved reporter turned around and smashed Chad in his stupid mouth. Think haw frustrated he would be if he couldn't talk about himself because he had a broken jaw. get rid of the egotistical baby.
Go Bengals
