Last week I noted that ESPN's Chris Berman had gone on a profane tirade eight years ago, and that the video was just surfacing now. And now we've learned of another profane Berman video, which you don't want to watch at work or with kids around:
After the jump, yet another video that has been posted to YouTube in an effort to embarrass Berman.
In that one Berman is talking about a bottle of wine he apparently gave an ESPN production employee as a gift, although the person who posted the video to YouTube clearly doesn't appreciate Berman's generosity, as the comment posted along with the video is, "Chris Berman again shows why he is so obnoxious and is disliked by so many."
So why are these apparently eight-year-old videos surfacing now? My best guess is that an ESPN employee who dislikes Berman just found them. But whatever the explanation, they provide an amusing behind-the-scenes look at the Boomer, and I hope there are more of them.

Seriously funny stuff. I always thought that he would be fun to hang with and this clinches it. I wonder who would drop more f bombs if him and "Be home Blyleven" were drinking together. I hope we get to see more of these too

That's a guy who will be in trouble before long. His foul mouth along with his drinking problem will see him blasting off when he knows the camera is on. He obviously isn't smart enough to realize that many others before him have gone down for sexual harrassment charges for way less than what he put out here. He's as stupid as I thought.

I sincerely hope they find out who leak those videos so Chris can tell them "bac, bac, bac" right out the ESPN door.

All this, and sexual harassment too? Not only does he take codeine and drink beer on the set, he also chases female co-workers. He's a foul-mouthed, drooling idiot. He's smug, and on top of all that, all but told her his gift was cheap. What a loser, I hope these videos get him fired.

Chris Berman is the most original and interesting man in sports television. Tom Jackson and Chris are the best sports television team ever. Chris is the best in the business, so he cusses off camera.

Umm...so? Last I checked, he's a grown man. If he decides to swear in his time off-camera, then why is it out problem?

Priceless. It's like watching America's Funniest(Sports Broadcaster's)Videos!!! YouTube is, at times, one big blooper reel. The person who released the video broke television's most precious unwritten rule. Don't sweat the 'lynch mob' Boomer. Like Bobby Vinton sang " To Know,Know,Know you...." Here's to 30 more years! Cheers.

Chris has a great sense of humor and he's real behind the scenes. To those of you holier-than-thou morons, go to a bible lesson or something. You bore me.

ESPN, ABC and Disney Corporation should take a lesson from Corporate America---sensitivity training required for all employees, not just to take, but to follow in all aspects of the workplace.
No Corporation these days would stand for any employee, manager or Director speaking the way Dana Jacobson or Chris Berman have. Dana was still in an ESPN capacity at that "roast" of two fellow ESPN employees and Berman obviously was on the clock when speaking the way he did.
Both of them, foul, out of bounds, not allowed and when said the wrong way to the wrong people are walking lawsuits. I cant believe ESPN settles for this behaviour, when the rest of their listening audience Companies do not.
I tend to think this type of talk also leads to racist comments as well when they think no one is looking or listening. Berman and Jacobson would do well to assume all near them the rest of their lives is recording and taping since their Employer seems to encourage this kind of behaviour.
Thank god for You Tube and Deadspin to keep us all honest and knowing of those who are not.
