Miami Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor has always defied the usual football player stereotypes. He's a quiet, easy-going guy off the field, his charity work allowed him to be recognized as the Walter Payton Man of the Year, and his main endorsement deal is for that least manly of products, moisturizer. And now he's got a new off-season hobby: He's going to appear on Dancing With the Stars. Several athletes have been on the show before, but Taylor is the first active NFL player to do it. The other contestants will include athletes such as Monica Seles and Kristi Yamaguchi, as well as Adam Carolla, Priscilla Presley and some "stars" I've never heard of.
So, good luck to Jason Taylor, whose agility on the football field may very well translate to the dance floor. But somehow I can't picture his new boss, Bill Parcells, watching.

1. Good for Jason, he will be enjoyable to watch! Have been doing that since his college days in Akron,Ohio.
After all, he has to think of another career when his football days are over. He might as well use his good looks and personality to move into the next phase of his life.

4. How did they ever get Priscilla to join "Dancing with the Stars? She generally tries to stay out of the limelight!
But, many Elvis fans are very happy and excited about her joining the team and look forward to seeing her in action! You know if Elvis choose her (from anyone who could have had) she has to be the best! After all, thanks to her and her business-like mind, she has kept Elvis alive bigger than ever and "The King" still reigning over Graceland" from above!
God Bless them both! Love it greatly, too!!
Lynda & Thousand of other Elvis Fans from Around the World, too!!!!!!!

5. People are getting so sick of Reality TV. Everything on is Reality TV. I won't watch it anymore. When nothing else is on except Reality TV I put on a DVD to watch.

6. Actually, my wife and I enjoy the show. Sure some of the people I have never heard of, but watching them learn to dance ballroom dances is enjoyable. I once dated a June Taylor dancer the girls from the Jackie Gleason show, so I appreciate the effort put forth. It is not an easy chore to make it look good.

8. That's a funny choice for an active athlete like Taylor, but hey - he might be the best dancer out there. I actually found out about his participation on this poll trying to guess who will be the best dancer of those chosen celebrities:
